Proud member of the Muslim community.

By Dr. Asmat Hayat ALVI.

“I am proud member of the Muslim community,” these are words of Lauren Booth, half sister of Cherie Blair wife of CIA and Mosad agent Tony Blair; ex-prime minister of UK and sworn enemy of Muslims.

Lauren Booth embraced Islam last year after visiting holy city of Iran Qom. Lauren Booth works for English language Iranian news channel Press TV.

She is a journalist by profession, British by citizenship, Caucasian by race and highly qualified and independent women, so many

Western shocked and many Muslims encouraged by her conversion.

Lauren Booth embraced Islam at the age of forty-three after visiting Tomb of Fatimah famous as Masooma-e Qom. She under-went religious conversion on her return to Britain following a visit to the holy Iranian city of Qom in September 2010.

“When I was in Qom, I sat down and felt this shot of spiritual  morphine, just absolute bliss and joy,” she said after a multi-faith Global Peace and Unity Event in London held in October last year.

Lauren has given up alcohol and pork, prays five times a day and has not ruled out wearing a burqa.

Lauren Booth has frequently criticized her brother-in-law Tony Blair, accusing him being biased toward Israel and the United States of America in his role as Middle East peace envoy.

“I’ve never understood this fear of ‘political Islam,” Lauren Booth wrote in a letter published in Morning Star last year.
