Today, Sunday 4th December 2011 H. E. Hassan Salem Al Khayal, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates invited Iqbal Hadi Zaidi, former Pakistani diplomat to attend his country's National Day reception at Hotel Marriot Courtyard. Ministers, Assembly members, high govenment officials, Ambassadors and other VIPs including prominent businessmen graced the evening. H. H. Sheikh Jabar Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister graced the evening as his predecessors have been doing alike. In Kuwait Amir has never come to any country's national day receptions while but Prime Minister does grace at least Gulf countries (Bahrain + Oman + Saudi Arabia + Qatar + UAE). I am in just a few photographs with PM but I doubt if I can get copies. I an told that President Musharraf attended Turkish reception if not more.
