As per the below email all passengers departing from Pakistan Airport need to pay the following taxes at the airport. These taxes are not charged on the ticket. Kindly ensure to inform your respective departments accordingly.

Dear Business Partner,
Effective 1st January 2012, Civil Aviation Authority, Pakistan has revised the Airport charges from Pakistan, they are as follows:
1. Infrastructure Development Charges
USD 6.00 or PKR 540 (or equivalent to AED )to per departing International passenger,
payable by passengers with no exemptions. The charges specified
in PKR shall remain valid till 30th june, 2012 and thereafter
will be recalculated in accordance with prevailing exchange
rate.
2. Security Charges
USD 2.00 or PKR 180 (or equivalent to AED ) per departing International passenger,
payable by passengers with no exemptions. The charges specified
in PKR shall remain valid till 30th june, 2012 and thereafter
will be recalculated in accordance with prevailing exchange
rate.
3. Government Airport Tax
Applicable only on Domestic passengers for all classes of
travel, PKR 20.00 (or equivalent to AED ) with no exemptions given.
4. Embarkation Fee
The existing Embarkation Fee (SP) has been enhanced with all
conditions/ exemptions remaining the same.
A. Domestic all classes
PKR 300 (or equivalent to AED )
B. International
1. First / Business Class
PKR 2000 (or equivalent to AED )
2. Economy Class
PKR 1000 (or equivalent to AED )
Effective 1st January 2012 the above amounts are to be collected from passengers at departure time till further notice.
You all are requested to inform the passengers accordingly so that they have sufficient funds available for payment at the airport.
