Press Release

“Quaid-e-Azam M.A. Jinnah Paid Subsidy for Pakistan:

1945-1946 Elections Manipulated.”

“…Jinnah is receiving a sum of six lakhs [600,000] of rupees annually from the Government of India…”

¯ The Modern Review, Calcutta, December 1945

A payment of Rupees 600,000 was made to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (founder of Pakistan) by the Government of India and the 1945-1946 elections were rigged. These key facts have been revealed by scholar and historian Nasim Yousaf in his most recent article entitled “Quaid-e-Azam M.A. Jinnah Paid Subsidy for Pakistan: 1945-1946 Elections Manipulated.” In this work, the author has quoted famous leaders’ grievances regarding the elections and provided information on the sources where news about the payment to Mr. Jinnah appeared. The work has been published in the USA on Kindle (ebook reader) and can be downloaded in many countries (wherever Kindle is sold and on any computer) via the large online bookseller www.amazon.com.

According to an abstract of the said article, in the 1945-46 elections held in the Indian subcontinent, the All-India Muslim League experienced a sweeping victory. How did Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (who became founder of Pakistan in 1947) and his party, the All-India Muslim League, achieve a sweeping victory and emerge as the sole representatives of the Muslims in British India? What were the widespread reactions of the public? This piece uncovers the facts behind this victory, so that Pakistanis, the people of the region, and others interested in the history of the Indian sub-continent can be exposed to the truth (for more information on the 1945-1946 elections, also see Chapter 8 of Mr. Yousaf’s book entitled “Hidden Facts Behind British India’s Freedom: A Scholarly Look into Allama Mashraqi and Quaid-e-Azam’s Political Conflict”).

The author of the piece, Mr. Nasim Yousaf, stated the following regarding his works:

“The criticism in my works (past, current and future) is not meant to disparage or demean anyone. My utmost desire is to end hate, conflicts, and controversies between Pakistan and India. If, through my works, I have unintentionally hurt anyone, please do not hold bad feelings against me in your heart. I seek your blessing to bring people together, whether Muslims or non-Muslims. I would like to see all races - regardless of region, color, class, or creed - united and respecting one other.”

Mr. Nasim Yousaf is a distinguished intellectual and historian. He is an out of the box thinker and is known for his open style of writing, in which he unearths important facts related to the history of the Indian sub-continent. He has been recognized for his courage and boldness in speaking out against unjust events and distortion of history.

The author has firsthand knowledge of the freedom movement and the emergence of Pakistan and India. He is a grandson of Allama Mashriqi, who was founder of the most powerful Private Army, the Khaksar Movement, in British India, and is an expert on this topic. Among all South Asian historians, scholar Nasim Yousaf is the only author who has had the honor of knowing Allama Mashriqi firsthand. As his grandson, he has seen Allama Mashriqi in many different moments – at home, in public gatherings, in jail, in Mashriqi’s last days and at his funeral. Additionally, the author’s knowledge comes directly from sons and daughters of Mashriqi and the Khaksars – these people fought for the independence of British India! He has been involved in exhaustive research since 1996.

The author has presented papers at U.S. conferences and published many books and numerous articles (which have appeared in newspapers of many countries, including Bangladesh, Canada, Pakistan, India, Japan, Norway, United Kingdom, and the USA). He has contributed pieces to renowned journals and encyclopedias namely “Harvard Asia Quarterly”, “Pakistaniaat” and “World History Encyclopedia (USA).” He is working on additional books, such as “Allama Mashriqi Narrowly Escapes the Gallows,” “Mahatma Gandhi & My Grandfather, Allama Mashriqi” and “World Famous Personalities in Microfinance and Poverty Alleviation: Nobel Prize Nominee Dr. Akhtar Hameed Khan, Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus and President Barack Obama’s Mother, Dr. S. Ann Dunham” (tentative titles).
