Operation Goodnight Plan

When the PML-N and PPP's leader Asif Ali Zardari have signed the Murree Declaration and they are looking ahead to fight off the forces of status quo, Pakistan Muslim League (Q) under the supervision of President General (r) Pervez Musharraf are working on the Operation Goodnight Plan.

According to this plan, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, the parliamentary leader of PPPP, and pir sahib of Hala Sharif has settled down all the nitty gritty of making the next government. Makhdoom Amin Fahim also enjoys the support of many PPP elected members who do not want to go with Nawaz Sharif and who are not that much enthusiastic about judiciary and media.

Hamid Nasir Chattha, Manzoor Wattoo, Chaudhary Shujaat, Humayyun Akhtar and some other important personalities in civil and other organizations have played a pivotal role in this attempt of making Amin Fahim the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. Many independents and JUI-F has also assured President Musharraf that they would support this new formation. This whole exercise to form the new government is being termed as "Operation Goodnight Plan".

According to this plan Amin Fahim would be the Prime Minister and Hamid Nasir Chattha would be the chief minister of Punjab.  PML-Q and this block in PPP would work together to disarm Asif Ali Zardari and they would bestow all the decision powers to the central executive committee of PPP, which mostly supports Makhdoom Amin Fahim.

Establishment has also contacted and gained the support of PPP sherpao, MQM, JUI-F, BNP-Awami, and some other independents and they have given the task of forming the government to Amin Fahim and now they are following the policy of "Wait and Watch." Amin Fahim has hinted to Asif Ali Zardari that if Asif nominates some other person for PM, then Amin Fahim would form his own government with the covert help of establishment.

This is the game which Presidency is playing behind the scenes, and this is why lotas of PML-Q are thronging the President House. These are the people who have been thoroughly rejected by the people of Pakistan. If Operation Goodnight Plan is executed, then Pir of Hala along with the pir of lotas will face the wrath of nation.
