Musamans get pleasure in knowing their past acievements. When Europe awoke finding the new world 'Americas' and became master of the oceans the Ottomans were trying hard to capture Vienna and the lands of the Europeans (socalled whites)they had blind eye on their possessions in Middle East & North Africa. Once the Czarist Russians became powerfull their constant attacks crippled the Ottoman Power. The Muslim Khalifa was not elected/selected but was born as prince and took over as Khalifa. Ottomans liked to be called whites as well and ignored their browns in Asia and Africa. When the great oceans were being strained the Ottomans never thought to send ship towards West Indies and East Indies. Perhaps the were struggling to bring more European women in their Harems with their adventures in Europe.
