I am gratified indeed by the chair person to let me illuminate my stance on the questions raised by the lady and the learned members of the board.

As to the irrational idea that with the CV in hand I should better attempt to lobby for getting myself elevated to the House of Lords. Be it noted that attempts subject to personal desire are not made to lodge into the House of Lords. Surely, on the basis of erudition, decency, dignity and graciousness I would secure a place in the most dignified chamber of the Mother Parliament.

As to the mandate and modus operandi of the body I personally feel shame to name it the parliamentary board. Indeed it is mere a post office, which is meant to forward the matters to the Presidency. This type of body is found nowhere in the history of parliamentary practice. If it is deficient of power to grant the ticket it is truly a futile exercise which manifests that PPP is no more a democratic organisation but mere a fascist organ driven by the whims of one man.

As to my affiliation with the PPP it's as old, as the bones of my elders. Compelled by the circumstances and socially boycotted Sir Shahnawz Bhutto when took refuge in Bahawalpur my forefathers honoured him with gold to regain his position in the family. If you don't believe, please go through the Walpurt's book, namely, Zulfi Bhutto of Pakistan!

History witnesses when your father Hakim Ali Zardari killed his real brother just for the sake of 200 acres lands in Sakrund my elders were distributing landholdings amongst abadkars, migrants and the homeless. While your kind father had been sitting in the lap of Wali Khan and voicing against Bhutto my elders were entertaining him at hunting in Cholistan, or honouring him banquets in their palaces. When your father couldn't acquire a seat to the Sind Assembly my elders served Punjab and Sind as governors: Be that Abbas Khan Abbasi (the eldest son of Sir Sadik Mohammad Khan), or Gen SM Abbasi, or Mir Rasul Bakhsh Talpur. It was Bhutto who slapped on the face of your father but arranged exclusive parties in the honour of my elders.

With due respects, you ought not to label us inactive or inoperative. Symbolic of the fief and the fiefdom we are the born administrators. When your vagrant forefathers had been grazing camels, sheep and goats my elders were running the states; they were being associated and honoured by the Kings and Queens of Britain. Indeed we as the blue blood are not liable to mix up with the commoners but never had we done anything against their interests. That's how we never rule but reign.

As to my agenda, it is known to the martyred lady on whose aspiration and commitment I tendered the application. Surely on the footprints of Mr. Yahya Bakhtiar AKC I would refurbish the premises, courtrooms, libraries and the bar rooms of the LHC Benches in Multan and Bahawalpur. In collaboration with the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Pakistan bar Council I would also make conscious endeavours to boost the education and training of the legal fraternity so that the glory of the prime profession be revived to the fullest.

I would surely be in close contact with the two universities of my region to revamp the ignored faculties of social sciences further to invest into the future of Pakistan in terms of producing promising politicians, social scientists and philosophers thereby strengthening the bond of a rotten society.

Surely as a legislator I would hold the government accountable to the house for its doings and wrong doings. As per the national sentiment I would do utmost to straighten out the question of the 17th Amendment and the PCO of November 03, 2007 to clear the mess of Mushi.

As to my personal services to the party, whatever I spoke to the intellectual circles, and wrote was even recognised by the martyred lady. To this I may quote one article, which clears Bhutto's position in the accused dismemberment of Pakistan. No PPP intellectual did ever think or write on this particular angle. I was asked by the daughter of the east to write a comprehensive book on the issue, which I would surely author and dedicate the same to her soul.

As to the financial assistance to the party I paid £ 8000/ on August 08, 2000, when, on the instance of my darling Mom and Mohtarema Benazir I joined the party. No receipt whatsoever was issued to this effect. The finance secretary of the party is sitting here. He better can refute if the case does not substantiate. I am eager to donate but there ought to be a fool proof system.

As to the proposition of meeting up Mr. Zardari, I am afraid to accomplish it. I feel shame that he is the President. I was told the other day at a dinner hosted by a diplomat that Pakistan under Zardari loses day by day her credibility in the comity of nations. People are still alive who witness him breaking the crockery at Karachi Marriott (then Holiday Inn), looting shops and banks. He would commit frauds at Bambino and cherish goondas. He would crave for hash and Bhung at the holy shrine of Syed Abdullah Shah Ghazi. Sorry to say but to me he is a sick mind on the foot prints of his beloved father. Surrounded by deprivations he always revolves around making up deficiencies. How can I meet him, as I am not ready to pay Rs 50,000/ per minute?

I believe having been returned to the house, this is not to be the Senate but I myself have to grace the Senate of Pakistan. So I am not concerned to the fate. Thanks for your time to give me a patient hearing!
