The dragon slayer by Saadat
The fire breathing heathen wretch
Raging and consuming stretch
Eternal tyranny and grievous burdens
Drubbing; rubbing oblivious wardens
Horizon to horizon its gory spread
Laid waste swath dreary and dread
Time of Bavarian castles is no more
Wherefore shalt then stem the gore
Amidst the lingering ravaged bots
Outstretched unending an empty pots
In burnt out smoldering hulks
cowering an some life still sulks
Whose help shall we invoke?
For it shall enhance an provoke
Bush fires rage, the dragon reeks
Through its teeth, convincingly speaks
Scourges of my times, a point of moot
Trampled under armour and the boot
Creeks that did with verdance dwell
Gnashed bloated corpses now swell
No knights in shining armour, walk
Few the braves, most that balk
Plowshares wretchedly turned to wares
Sadder truth that none stands, cares
Canker balloons, ravishes the innards
Impotence extols puny the placards
Whose help shall we invoke?
For it shall enhance an provoke
