United States Embassy Has Surpassed Goebbels
Anwar Ul Haque, MD
Please read the following letter of Gerald Feierstein, Charge d'Affaires, Embassy of the United States of America, Islamabad published in the News Islamabad, Pakistan (10th May 09) in the News post with the title “US embassy clarifies”. It seems that United States Government has surpassed Hitler Minister of propaganda Joseph Goebbels in telling and spreading lies Certainly Mr. Feierstein has knocked out Goebbels on all fronts!
To say that “Ms Siddiqui was never in US custody, either at the Bagram Theatre Internment Facility or elsewhere, prior to her detention by the Afghan police in Afghanistan on July 17, 2008. On July 18, 2008, she was wounded while attempting to kill US personnel who had come to interview her” is blatant lies. USA authorities in collaboration with Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, then interior minister is fully responsible for abduction and kidnapping of this phyicaly frail and weak women along with her innocent children from Karachi and then taking her to Bagram and keeping her in the “Four Points” (Both hands and feet tied as her medical record from Russian State of Georgia where she was taken for providing temporary medical help on her route to New York, clearly says) Even after operation and in this most debilitating condition she was four points restrained with both local and remote monitoring.
Mr. Feierstein is perfectly capable of “proving” that 7 year old Ahmad, 4 year old Maryam and six month old Sulaiman were all grave terrorists! These children might have planned and on their way to do another 9/11. To say that she has the luxury to make social calls to Pakistan is another blatant lie. Her mother Mrs. Ismat Siddiqui is serisouly ill right now with urinary bladder problem and yet neither Mrs. Isamat nor her daughter can contact each other. Even Dr. Aafia’s brother living in Huston is deprived of contacting her sister!
Feierstein lies again expose the reality of Taliban, 9/11, war on terrorism and weapons of mass destruction etc. Only fools can believe in the statements of United States Government and their controlled and sponsored media’s news and views. A displaced person from Swat told me personally in a park while having a walk that Sufi Muhammad’s recently hired “Commandos” had 3-4 posh cars and had become suddenly very rich while before that they had nothing and some of their children were admitted to the schools and colleges in America. Another informed person told us that real aim of invasion into Swat and displacing hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis was to get Kanjoo airport of Swat and adjacent areas for USA forces. It seems clearly that Zionist controlled USA, European Governments and Russian Government are all sponsoring MQM terrorist in Karachi, BLF in Baluchistan and bearded criminals in north who are portrayed as “Taliban”. These American Taliban are no different from those who took USA embassy in Tehran hostage on the orders of CIA. The hostage takers were later given green cards and some of these later worked in USA.
If USA Government is so caring and respectful of human rights then let Dr. Aafia come to Pakistan to the delight of her ailing mother and let she be tired in the court of Honorable Chief Justice whom USA lawyers respected so much.

US embassy clarifies |

Sunday, May 10, 2009 Once again, we at the US embassy note untruthful and irresponsible reporting concerning the case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui in a report titled "Saga of Aafia's unending torment in NY jail" (May 7). The truth is never served by sensationalism; we believe your readers, as fair-minded and critical thinkers, deserve better, and we are equally troubled by the complete failure on the part of your reporter to solicit comment from US government sources. We continue to commend the majority of Pakistani journalists for their accurate and balanced reporting and overall professionalism. Mr.
Grossly unsubstantiated allegations continue to be reported as 'fact'. Allegations that Dr Siddiqui has been in custody at the Bagram Theatre Internment Facility in Afghanistan are completely erroneous. Ms Siddiqui was never in US custody, either at the Bagram Theatre Internment Facility or elsewhere, prior to her detention by the Afghan police in Afghanistan on July 17, 2008. On July 18, 2008, she was wounded while attempting to kill US personnel who had come to interview her.
She briefly received medical treatment at Bagram Air Field, receiving the same level of medical care that a US soldier with like wounds would receive, before being transferred to US custody to stand trial. At no time has Dr Siddiqui been mistreated or abused in any manner whatsoever. Consular authorities of the government of Pakistan have had standard consular access to her under the terms of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations; she has been visited by family members; and she has access to a female physician. In addition, Dr Siddiqui has full access to telephonic communication and has made calls to the embassy of Pakistan. There are no restrictions on social calls to Pakistan. Dr Siddiqui has taken full advantage of this ability.
Dr Siddiqui is presumed innocent unless and until she is proven guilty. She will have a fair and public trial. She has at all times been represented by court-appointed legal counsel, and she has also been advised from the outset of her right to retain legal counsel of her choosing.
The people of Pakistan have time and again demonstrated their commitment to justice and the rule of law; they have also made clear their belief that every citizen should be held accountable for their actions. The American people share those beliefs. It is our hope that your readers will remain critical of this kind of inaccurate and irresponsible reporting.
