Movement 4 Justice & Merit (MJM)
Introduction:
Justice and Merit are the two very essential pillars of the society. The first i.e. Justice refers to not to commit injustice to anyone and if injustice is committed, the criminal should be swiftly punished so that rule of law and order can be established which will provide the peaceful living for everyone in the country. The second i.e. Merit refers to honor the honesty, integrity, competency and commitment and devotion. Intuitions are built by people of high character, vision, dedication and devotion. There is no dearth of such great people in the human history. In the movement of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Johar, Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah displayed the vision, commitment, utmost honesty and moral courage and as a result Islamic Republic of Pakistan was born and all of us were relieved from potential slavery and utter discrimination which is faced today by Indian Muslims whether they admit or not. In only 23 years of his prophetic life Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was able to raise the Muslims from the rock bottom to the skies in every positive respect. He used Quran-e-Majeed as his philosophy and action. The result was obvious. One Night of that light was better than 1000 months. Today after 70 years of Qirdad-e-Pakistan i.e. on 23rd March 2010 where are we? After achieving Pakistan in last 63 years we have progressed in few spheres while gone back in many more spheres. We have lost half of Pakistan and there had been tremendous decay in ethical and moral values not primarily due to negative forces but primarily due to our own apathy, wrong methodology and massive waste of time and energy. In order to contain the damage and to put the nation on the right tract we on this day are launching a movement of Justice and Merit as both these virtues have been directly ordered by Allah Ta’lah in Quran-e-Majeed. Our hope is that educated class will come forward and will play their very active role by joining this grass root movement where people will be planning their own designs and will organize their own ways and mean to achieve justice and merit in every sphere of life. This is a peaceful and lawful, non political movement which will aim at protecting the constitution and rule of law without any discrimination. Mission Statement
Movement 4 Justice and Merit (MJM) is a voluntary movement to promote justice and merit in all spheres and all levels of society. It is constructive peaceful movement to promote and establish Good Governance which will save us and will strengthen the country in all respects. It is not an election or a political party.
Objectives
MJM specifically stands for:
1. Upholding merit and justice in appointments, promotions, evaluations and accountability without consideration of religion, race, color, gender, ethnicity and social status etc.
2. No body is above law and no one has exemption on crimes being committed against poor citizens’ honor, rights, property and pocket
3. Spreading education as being the fundamental right of every human being
4. Safeguarding the ethical and moral values of humanity
5. Eliminating discrimination including reverse discrimination
6. Providing justice rapidly and without much cost to the victims
7. Punishing all those who violated the constitution and law irrespective whether the offender is a civilian or military employee
8. Recovering all the looted wealth and imposing heavy fines for abusing office and powers
9. Encouraging feeding and helping the poor
10. Eliminating jails through marked reduction in crimes
Enabling Objectives
MJM takes the divine guidance for its determination of good and bad and their very detailed differentiation. As the divine guidance is only protected without slightest change in Quran so the Quran-e-Majeed is the source reference. For details the Uswa-e-Hasna of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) will be used as he is the final and the last messenger of Allah and the most effective, efficient and influential person of all time directly taught and guided by the All Mighty Allah in every sphere of his life.
MJM will Insha Allah (The God willing) welcome all those who agree to its mission statement and objectives. MJM respect time and energy of people and will not indulge in any time and energy wasting exercise. It will promote the best utility of time and energy of its members for achieving the above objective.
Those who want to join this life saving movement for the society and for seeking pleasure of Allah Ta’lah must try to abide the principles of justice and merit in their lives and in their own spheres. They will motivate others to do the same through conversations, letters, articles and other peaceful and lawful manners in their spheres. They will protest against the injustices committed in the departments and institutions. Appropriate changes in law and practice which are against justice will also be encouraged. They will try to organize and indulge in voluntary work of spreading education and strengthening the moral and ethical values in the society. They may also go to the courts, elected representatives and other authorities to achieve the above objectives. They will try their best to bring qualified, deserving, honest and committed persons on all positions in every institute. They will actively promote the science and art of good governance in all segments of the society.

We will not waste time in meetings in drawing rooms etc. Most if not all of our communications will be through email. Every individual has to work in his/her sphere and we will share ideas and suggestions. There will be no leader and I will serve only as coordinator and facilitator. We will share our ideas and individuals in different Muhallas and institutions can carry out the above objective with whatever means they have. We can get each others help in terms of ideas and knowledge. May Allah accept our this good and sincere work to save our society which in turn will remove all of today’s problems e.g. insecurity, poverty, sky rocketing inflation and devaluation of our currency etc.
