Towards a purer, healthier and more peaceful world

Destiny has put us in a world where life has been reduced to economics and economics has been relegated to Commerce. Governed by New World Order, the world today appears to be a blossoming Paradise from a distance; but as soon as we start reaching its vicinity it begins to unfold into a blazing Hell of chaos. We belong to a world where immorality reigns. Where, it is easier to be bad than good. Where piety is ridiculed and impudence glorified. Where, prosperity is considered to be the synonym of peace, education that of knowledge and entertainment that of happiness. Where, children are aborted in the name of women's rights. Where, murderers and rapists are protected in the name of 'ight to life'. Where, criminals are given all amenities of life in the name of human rights. Where, sexual perverts receive all kinds of sympathy and attention. Where, those talking of righteousness in life are condemned as "bloody moralists". New World Order views us as commercial beings whose susceptibilities are to be exploited to the hilt; we are nothing more than manufacturers, sellers or consumers. If we try to be anything else, we face extinction before time; the World Order will not let us survive.

It is high time the world recognized the true colours of Economic Fundamentalism, the ideology that has produced New World Order, the ideology that gives supremacy to economics over every other thing including health, security and peace. The forces of economic fundamentalism, the slaves of Mammon, have mastered the art of commercializing human susceptibilities for their interests. Let people die and let the families suffer on account of smoking, drinking, gambling and promiscuity. But the champions of "Freedom" will continue to market tobacco, alcohol and sex. Howsoever dangerous the consequences, who will rise against them? Clergy cannot see beyond sects and communities. Media are in the hands of the very forces that are ruling the roost. Politicians are in no position to act in any way other than what they are told by the market forces. Social activists are busy running their NGOs with the funds supplied by the agencies which again derive inspiration and funds from the same forces.

While the detractors of Islam attack Muslims and Islam in order to vanquish them so that their own objectives can be achieved without much resistance, Muslims fail to see and present their positives, which despite several weaknesses, are much more glaring than what the Western and other civilisations can offer or boast of. Introspection is generally a healthy sign, but if it becomes a means to afflict a whole community with an inferiority complex of huge amount, the method of "introspection" itself needs introspection. Many a time the call for introspection comes from those who are genuinely interested in the uplift of the Community; More often however, it comes from those whose aims are to make Muslims feel inferior and to prepare them for giving up Islamic values and adopting their values, for annihilating any ego left in them and for breaking their spirit and morale.

            Time now has arrived when Muslims must come out of the inferiority complex, which they have been suffering from, in recent years. They must develop confidence and resolve to promote God's paradigm of World Order, which I call Natural World Order. If Muslims want to gain respect from others, they must learn to make sacrifices for others, especially the underprivileged and oppressed classes. Instead of begging they must learn the art of influencing the direction of policies and programmes

Muslims of the current world have adopted Islam partially. This partial application has deprived them of the peace in its entirety. Still they are in a much better state of peace than the people living in the so-called developed world are. This is evident from the fact that they have

·        one of the lowest rates of murders

·        almost negligible incidence of suicides

·        very low rates of rapes

·        negligible consumption of alcohol and alcohol-related deaths and other problems

·        very low rate of gambling related problems

·        extremely low level of family break-ups

·        extremely low number of prostitutes and pornographic actors among them

·        negligible level of sexual abuse of children

·        very low incidence of sex-related, alcohol related and gambling related diseases

·        relatively low incidence of drug addiction

·        relatively low incidence of psychiatric illnesses

·        relatively very low level of the consumption of sedatives and tranquillisers

·        very low incidence of single parents, negligible number of children born out of wedlock

·        relatively much lower level of promiscuity and other sexual perversions

·        very low level of abortions including teenage pregnancies, etc

·        relatively low incidence of several diseases including Cancers of Penis and Cervix (due to circumcision), sex transmitted diseases, Urinary Tract Infections, other cancers due to alcohol, etc.

With the imminent fall of the US as the Superpower, time has come when the people of the world must have a fresh look at the things. All the right minded people, including the followers of all religions, especially Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam, the four most followed religions of the world, must come together against the vices afflicting the mankind. We must not just aim to achieve prosperity; we must vow to restore peace. Prosperity in itself is not bad. The only conditions are that it should not be achieved at the cost of peace and it should be shared by all, not the privileged few.

Islam, Muslims and the World will try to achieve unity against vices. Its aim is not just to promote the true face of Islam but also to promote unification of all the people with the objective of building a purer, healthier and more peaceful world.
