No, Mr. Talat Hussain (of Aaj TV), no. Public memory (as you were telling yesterday) is not short. Public have not forgotten all that happened in these pasts, particularly after manhandling of the sitting Chief Justice a year ago. Public have not forgotten the words, the role, of boot licking shameless ministers of black-faced pervez musharraf. They have not forgotten the way those senseless 'janwars' played with their sensitivity and sentiment.  Public are full of anger. Public are fuming in anger.

It was you who had forgotten all that, of course until today. It was you, who interpreted the events involving Sher Afgan wrongly, wrongfully and with myopic intention. It was you, and also your colleagues across the board, tried to pose as larger than life, tried to be altruistic journalists, tried to be ashamed to death for the uncontrollable events, tried to establish the blame game, tried to lynch imaginary black sheep, tried to demean and belittle lawyers' movement, and even tried to implicate Mr. Aitezaz Ahsan in some wrong doings. But you totally ignored public there with pent-up anger. You failed to recall that, today's public do not only have the body, but also the mind, and some portion of this mind also have the storage capacity for longer period of time. You the, media, created that mind, but unfortunately, like the karnels-jarnels and the army, you thought public mind, public sentiment, public angers are just flukes, simply ignorable, and crushable. (Yes, crushable they are, at least in Pakistan , and the days are just around the corner when they/these will be again crushed.)

Now, there is a sudden change of heart on your part. Today you were on the screen with a bleak anger, and show the gruesome occurrences of state atrocities in the recent past to refresh public memory, and probably to educate the already educated about the cause of incidences of Arbab Rahim and Sher Afghan, which may be public anger (and not the others, as there are still some hard nuts who are not, and will not see the right picture from the right angle, who have all the reasons in their sleeves to justify the existence of musharaf bhai and altaf bhai).

What is the reason of sudden change of your heart about  these incidences?

Thanking you

-     From the one who has already been shouting about publics' pent-up anger and its possible fallout, and the need to cool this anger down properly.
