Mentality of current Government could be judged that those are inviting foreigners to attack on Pakistani citizens. Mr. Hamid Mir ran campaign in favour of war of terror and Army and his programs are witness that he displayed fake flogging video, but as soon as he talked about Nadeem Ijaz, ex DG MI, scenario is changed. I ask the propagandists that half of TTP is in agreement with army, remaining half is not. Moreover what is Lashkar e Jhangvi? A shadowy name used by Mahdi Army to cover their crimes, what is its address and where did it resides. Read the story of Kargal that all of such groups were used to infiltrate in Kashmir by Mush, and now current generals are blaming them terrorists. What is this non-sense? Army wants to put barrier on any information that could highlight their human rights violations. As such there are hundreds of peoples who have links with TTP, those are Pakistani’s. Hamid Mir has denied about such conversation with undisclosed person but mean mentality of ISI and MI to harass journalists. There are thousands of army Jawans and officers from FATA areas in army, FC, Shawal Rifles, Khyber Rifles, Frontier police and intelligence has dozens of peoples in government services that are watching ruination of their homes, humiliation to their mothers, sisters and daughters.

PPP Corrupt Politicians Launch Campaign to Defame Pakistani
Journalists
(InformPress.com COMMENTARY) - Psychopathic stooges of Pakistan Army's
Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency - which is a mercenary,
sycophantic satellite of the US CIA - PPP, MQM, ANP and PML-Q, etc.,
have planted defamatory lies, misleading disinformation and malicious
propaganda against Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, Executive Editor
and Capital Talk show Anchor of Pakistan's pro-MQM Geo News TV, in
many publications and websites, including the Pakistani Daily Times, a
rag of pro-PPP propagandists, which shamelessly supports the Taseer-
Zardari-Gilani-Altaf-Asfandyar ruling dictatorship of PPP-MQM-ANP and
it also illegally promoted the former Musharraf-Aziz-Altaf-Chaudhry
tyranny of PMLQ-MQM.
Their recent lies claim that "Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir is an
agent of American CIA, Israeli Mossad, British SIS, Indian RAW,
Pakistani Taliban (Pakhtoon students) and Afghan Taliban (Pashtun
students)." Earlier, their lies claimed that "Hamid Mir is an agent of
the Pakistani ISI." Indeed, even the ironic lies of pro-ISI, pro-PPP,
pro-MQM, pro-ANP and pro-PMLQ lunatics don't make any sense.
On 13 May 2010, a Pakistani "Inter-Services Intelligence" (ISI)
Facebook group, operated by Mr. "Hijazi or H" (ISI Code Name), first
released an Urdu audio file of a journalistic telephone interview or a
recorded phone conversation between Hamid Mir and an unidentified man
to frame, blame and demonize/defame Hamid Mir. He says this concocted
audiotape is a fake and fabricated product of the PPP, ISI, MI, or IB,
etc., aimed at framing or implicating him in the Khalid Khawaja
assassination case.
An article written by Hamid Mir, headlined "What was the last mission
of Khalid Khwaja?", published in The News International of Pakistan on
2 May 2010, contains real opinions and true views of Hamid Mir about
the April 2010 mysterious murder of Pakistan Air Force and ISI's
former official Khalid Khawaja.

Another article of Hamid Mir, entitled "Major-General Nadeem Ejaz in
the Dock for Many Crimes", who was Pakistan Army's former Director-
General Military Intelligence under Army chief/military dictator

cut a dirty deal with PPP Crook Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Outlaw Yousuf
Raza Gilani, PPP disinformationist Salmaan Taseer and some other PPP

journalist colleagues that Salmaan Taseer published many dirty
articles against me in the past when I was banned by Musharraf regime
on TV. Today he published the transcript of a concocted [audio] tape
with some comments on the front page of his [Daily Times] newspaper.
Yes he tried to kill many birds with one bullet."
"This is a conspiracy against me. Khalid Khawaja was assassinated in
the month of April [2010] and this [audio] tape surfaced in the middle
of May [2010] just few days before some important political and legal
events. I am consulting with my lawyers and I will go into court
against Salmaan Taseer for publishing a one-sided concocted story
against me. My hands are clear and I have no fear except Allah [God]
who has provided me a new opportunity to unmask some more realities in
the court of law."
"This fabricated [audio] tape is part of a bigger drama against
[Pakistani] journalists community. Some elements want to silence the
voice of [Pakistani] media on certain national issues by blackmailing
journalists like me. These people are very unhappy with those
journalists who are raising voice for missing [Pakistani] people, who
are opposing [PPP-MQM-ANP] government stand for NRO and who criticized
the fake degree-holder members of the [Pakistan] Parliament. Many
journalists are disliked by the [PPP-MQM-ANP] government and some
parts of the [Pakistan civil and military] Establishment. These
[Pakistani] journalists may become a target one by one. Some
government ministers warned me on May 13th [2010] that some elements
are trying to use the family of Khalid Khawaja against me, and
journalists like Ansar Abbasi, Kamran Khan and Shahid Masood will also

Capital Talk, Anchor Hamid Mir wrote from Islamabad, Pakistan:

"Some elements in the [PPP-MQM-ANP] federal government have hatched a
grand conspiracy to malign and blackmail the Pakistani media and top
of the list is the Jang Group of Newspapers and Geo [News] TV. This
grand conspiracy was noticed last Friday when a federal minister made
allegations in the National Assembly and said that they [Pakistani
press-media] have not paid huge amounts of sales tax. Most of the
figures presented in the National Assembly were not correct.
The same afternoon, a top government minister told this scribe that
'enough is enough' and now they can teach a lesson to Jang Group any
time. He claimed that it was only [PPP] president Asif Ali Zardari who
never allowed any 'action' against you people, otherwise, the action
would have started long ago. The minister was angry with [Pakistani
journalists] Ansar Abbasi and Dr. Shahid Masood. He claimed that the
[PPP-MQM-ANP] government has collected a lot of material against these
two [journalists]. Another minister told this scribe the same evening
that [PPP] president Zardari had given a green signal to launch a
campaign against some journalists of the Jang Group, including Shaheen
Sehbai, Ansar Abbasi, Dr. Shahid Masood, Kamran Khan, Hamid Mir and
some others. He said that Dr. Shahid might be implicated in some
forgery case.
Another minister revealed that some people within the Establishment
suggested to the [PPP-MQM-ANP] government to use the family of late
Khalid Khawaja against Hamid Mir on the basis of a [fake audio] tape.
A top official of the Interior Ministry rejected this idea and said
that these types of concocted tapes cannot be proven in a court of
law, but the same night some pro-PPP websites launched a campaign
against me. The next day, a section of the [pro-PPP] media belonging
to [Salmaan Taseer] a close friend of [PPP] president Zardari
published a one-sided story with baseless allegations. A [pro-PPP]
newspaper and a [pro-PPP] TV channel tried to involve me in the murder
of Khalid Khawaja.
I will take legal action against all those who started this campaign,
but one thing must be clear: It is a conspiracy not only against me.
The ultimate goal is to silence the voice of Pakistani media on
certain issues. Was it a coincidence that PPP Secretary Information
Fauzia Wahab addressed a press conference on Saturday against Ansar
Abbasi and the next day a full-fledged campaign was launched against
me in a section of the [pro-PPP] media belonging to [PPP] Governor
Punjab [Salmaan Taseer]?
Many observers have noticed the timing of the [PPP] campaign against
the media men. Khalid Khawaja was assassinated at least two weeks ago,
but no [audio] tape about his murder surfaced anywhere. Fauzia Wahab
had exchanged hot words with Ansar Abbasi many times in different [TV]
talk shows, but she issued him a notice only when some important
political and legal events are going to take place in coming few
weeks. The main objective is very clear. The PPP leadership wants to
give a message to the whole media that if they do not behave, then
this [PPP-MQM-ANP] government will treat them like [former Pakistani
military dictator General (R)] Pervez Musharraf did.
For some time, the [PPP-MQM-ANP] government has been taking many
actions to financially damage the Geo-Jang Group because this [media-
press] Group has refused to toe the official [PPP] line. Similar
tactics were used by the previous [PMLQ-MQM] regime of dictator
Musharraf. The [so-called] democratic government was supposed to
tolerate press freedom, but this could not happen."

I personally like Hamid Mir and first think that this is some kind of drama against him but after reading his today's article i got a gut feeling that he is not that much innocent and has some thing to do about it. Because the way he blackmailed Salman Taseer and Asif Ali Zardari in his column, clearly points out that he want this campaign to be shut down.
