Since when reporting truth has become a crime?

The people of the world should profusely be thankful to Mr Julian Assange for exposing the ugly faces and shady characters of the policy makers of all sizes and caricatures across the globe.

If the reflections in the mirror are ugly it’s not Mr Assange’s fault and yet the unscrupulous so-called leaders, powerful as they are, have managed to issue orders to hunt down Julian as if he is the biggest criminal who ever walked the face of this earth.

Shame on the inhumane, immoral, oppressive, anti-people so-called leaders incapable of leading for adopting the “shooting the messenger” approach instead of making any attempt to mend their crooked ways.

Thank you Mr. Assange for the expose. May God protect you from any and all harm. All we could do is to pray for your safety and well being, and pray profusely we do.

Thank you for certifying the truths that most knew but none dared to expose particularly in our part of the world- inhumane, uncivilized, illiterate, feudal, poor as it is where democracy is nothing than a façade to mercilessly loot, pillage and plunder the country and an already thoroughly exploited, oppressed, suppressed, taxed-to-death Pakistanis whose aspirations, sovereignty, independence, well-being are sold by their leaders to Uncle Sam.

The Leaks show just how willingly the Pakistani policy makers- politicians, establishment, bureaucrats and others- have compromised the sovereignty and integrity of the country by selling it cheap to the USA. It proves that Pakistani policy makers are the biggest threat to the national security and sovereignty and a willing accomplice of the US to the point where even killings of their own people or their abductions mean nothing to them.

The Leaks proves that the feudal  ruling-elite of Pakistan is corrupt to the core, inhuman to the heart, indifferent to the brain, callous to the teeth and inhumane to the skin. It also shows that it is utterly  greedy, power hungry, absolutely rotten and a willing poodle of US, and for that matter anyone, who has the enough money to pay the price. 

If just 500 pages of the whistle-blower (I prefer to call it ‘trumpet blower’) has shown the ugly faces of our ruling elite. I wonder how much more blackened would they be when Wikileaks finishes publishing the entire 18,000 cables pertaining to Pakistan. Pakistanis anxiously look forward to remaining trove of cables exposing the ugly faces of ruling Pakistani elite.

Thank you once again Mr. Julian Assange. You are a hero to us Pakistanis who all along knew the true faces of their corrupt to the core ruling elite but were not able to prove anything due to lack of evidence- the precious evidence that you have put in the public domain.

May our self-righteous TV anchors, talk show hosts and media follow your courageous example Mr. Assange to understand that people want their corrupt rulers to be held responsible instead of being allowing themselves to be used like a toilet paper by these ruling elites.

Let’s not allow the shady likes of Zia Shahids, Rauf Klasras, Nazir Najis, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman Shamis, Kamran Khan’s, Mahreen Bukharis, Asma Sherazi s(the last two being the dancing darlings at a function at the US Embassy where they wined and dined and photographed with dirty American hashwas) , Asma Chaudharys, Luqman Mubashhir, Abbas Athars and many others like them befool you that they are with the people. They always  were, and is still, the part of the corrupt ruling elite despite trying to appear that they are pro-people- nay they are anti-people to the core simply because they have mastered the art of hypocrisy and are really traitors to the middle class that they once belonged to. They boost to call it progress but be rest assured that they have sold their souls to the devil to reach the places that they have reached.

Mr. Assange you are the true icon of Pakistanis, who are a great people having the misfortune to be lead by the most unscrupulous ruling elite anywhere.
