US Agenda in Egypt

DR. ABDUL RUFF

Today, extremists and terrorists of Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism under state shield are on the rise, increasing the insecurity of the civilization.  Media support for this trend is dangerous. The net effect has been to embolden and strengthen radical elements against Islam by the states. Egypt is about to fall. Israel brutally controls Palestine and Lebanon. Iraq is under US occupation and ravaged with engineered suicide bombings, while Muslim sects are being exterminated in Muslim nations like Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan under NATO occupation. Entire regions of Pakistan are infested with NATO state terrorists and their drones killing innocent Muslims at will. Turkey is under pressure from USA and Europe to promote Zionist fascism but it has declined to do so.

Whenever there is turmoil anywhere the devil is quick to take part in it and twist the outcome in its favor. The revolution in Egypt that has already cost hundreds of genuine lives and seriously injured many m ore hundreds pressing the Mubarak regime to quit and leave the country, the Neocon inspired Washington bosses are at work to fish in the  troubled waters.  US maneuver now is aimed at Egyptian protecting the Egyptian ruling elite and safeguarding the interests of imperialism, and, if the outcome does not suit US interests, then, aborting the Revolution itself.

The CIA-Pentagon combine seeks global resources for the innocent looking Americans. Hence the terror wars.

The Mubarak regime, the product of a criminal dictator and his coterie of thugs and the instrument of the ruling class in Egypt and its imperialist patrons, is intensive to social needs of the people.  The Egyptian masses have successfully defended themselves in Tahrir Square with their bare hands and sheer force of numbers. Washington is keen that Mubarak’s ultimate replacement would be someone like Mubarak himself who maintains the same “historical appreciation for peace and relations” with USA.  The strategists in the media say Mubarak is “invaluable for his historical perspective and the importance he places on the relationship with the United States and peace with Israel”.

USA is attempting to put the new Vice-President, A Suleiman, an intelligence officer under Mubarak who has been an out-and-out criminal at  his best.  The Egyptian vice president—appointed to that post only last week by Mubarak—is better known as the chief of Egypt’s notoriously brutal security apparatus. Suleiman is directly responsible for the torture of thousands of political prisoners, a role for which he was especially prized by the CIA, which regularly shipped prisoners to Egypt for treatment that could not be administered in Guantanamo Bay or the agency’s own network of secret prisons. It was under his direction that Gaza has been systematically blockaded and starved for the past four years, since the coming to power of Hamas in that territory. Suleiman is a confidante of the Israeli regime, the most highly regarded Egyptian in the eyes of Mossad and the Israeli military.

Another candidate floated by USA and Europe in a discreet manner is former UN official and who acted more as a US agent that a responsible IAEA chief ElBaradei, who is also equally hostile to the revolutionary movement in the streets of Cairo, Alexandria and other cities.  ElBaradei has argued for delaying elections even further than the September date set by Mubarak. He is proposing instead a three-member ruling council (a trio presumably of himself, Suleiman and a top military officer) to hold power for at least a year while the electoral system was “reformed.” And the regime would continue endless with US support.  Israel would happily go on rampage over Palestine.

The whole idea of the “transition” regime is to kill the revolution and bring back Mubarakism through back door. ElBaradei or Suleiman or both would try best to delude the popular movement against Mubarak with illusions of reform and democracy. all those who rightly refuse to accept such a US-brokered transition as a genuine democratic development would be physically  suppressed and even eliminated.

Discontentment and anger over Mubarak regime has grown over time, unnoticed by the regime agents. Over the past two decades, a powerful and brutally oppressed working class has grown up in Egypt, engaging in a series of militant and bloody battles with the police-state regime.  The corporate world and military establishment are keen to destroy this. Once Mubarak is replaced by a caretaker regime headed by ElBaradei or Suleiman but based on the military, both the Obama administration and the American media would dutifully stand behind the new rulers, vilifying all popular opposition as “terrorism” and endorsing the bloodiest measures of state repression. Of course, there ends the revolution and the rogues would be back to rule Egypt.  The new regime then would join hands with fascist Israel to squeeze the defenseless Palestinians further, expanding the illegal settlement proliferation with active support from CIA and Interpol. It would then be difficult to free the country from the grip of imperialism, since the Egyptian stooges of foreign capital and the rule of semi-feudal landlords still dominate the countryside.

Obama Administration officials already have reached out to top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood to discuss an orderly transition to power. US hatred for Islam and Palestine and love for fascism and Israel and the GST is clear when the Washington Post writes: The goal of Muslim Brotherhood is to erect a Sunni version of Iran‘s Shiite theocracy. WP is worried that Brotherhood champions the hatred of America, war with Israel and a global jihad against the West. USA opposes any support for Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Because, it calls them “terrorist groups”. They expect the post-Mubarak regime most probably to be anti-Western having ties to “al Qaeda and Iran‘s mullahs” That is how US Neocons oversimplify the issues to and cut them to suit their needs.

American terror nuts, seeking to continue the NATO terror wars for resources, call Muslims as Mullahs and what about Chrestians- kullas?

History is repeating itself. The medieval western anti-Islamic butchers in democracy suits are murdering Muslims and harboring newer terror techniques to terrorize them. The CIA-Mossad Neoconservatives now criticize Obama for publicly standing with the demonstrators and say that Obama has betrayed Mubarak a key US partner whose collapse likely may usher in a gang of “Islamist” butchers.

Egypt is considered as cultural linchpin of the Arab world - the France of the Mideast. America could have fostered a truly Islamic-democratic nation and opposition. Instead, by blindly backing Mubarak, the USA has now destabilized Egypt and also yet to decide if it should back the most popular Muslim Brotherhood to take over. USA shuffling cards to choose the most suited card for the occasion.

For centuries, Egypt has been a trendsetter. In literature, art, radio, cinema, industrialization, nationalism and mass politics, it was Egyptians who showed the way for other peoples of the Middle East. Neocon nuts think if the land of the pharaohs should go Islamic, it will reverberate across the entire region and the balance of power will tip irreversibly into the hands of Muslim believers. USA will lose its importance in the region.

For decades now, Washington has provided Mubarak with the weapons - and support – Mubarak needed to suppress political opposition and violate human rights. Egypt‘s present political system is closed as the authoritarian status quo was unsustainable. America has sent Egypt more than $1.2 billion in annual military aid. The downfall of the Mubarak regime should come as no surprise.  The rampaging mobs in Cairo and Alexandria continue to dominate the political landscape. They represent the future,  Mubarak the past. Mubarak came to resemble an ancient Egyptian pharaoh: a power-hungry dictator insulated by the luxury and wealth of his lavish court palace. He has led a corrupt police state for decades. Its statist economy is sterile. The security services imprison and murder dissidents.

Global terrorist USA its media lords consider Islam as its key enemy after communism.  Moreover, they harbor on the theme that Iranian regime is the greatest sponsor of terrorism in the world. Iran for them is a fanatical anti-American, anti-Semitic state that is on the verge of acquiring the nuclear bomb.

Muslims are paying the price for their misbehavior in allying with the enemy of Islam- their pact with the devil. In the name of democracy and “stability” USA for decades now propped up many rogue regimes even in Islamic world including Mubarak‘s regime. In doing so, the USA became an accessory to an unpopular, brutal dictatorship in entire Islamic world, not just in Afghanistan or Iraq.  This explains why there are mobs on the streets of Cairo and they hate America.

US rulers have proved to be much more murderous and repressive than any other dictator in the world. The unipolar, unilateral dictatorial power USA is also deadly anti-Islamic. USA cannot go on pursuing the cause of human rights and democracy when they have killed millions of innocent Muslims by branding them as terrorists.  They are guilty of crimes and will be brought to justice. It is only the question of time- when.
