Col. Qaddafi & AU for Peace: Libya toward Normalization
Dr. Abdul Ruff
Even after having killed thousands of Libyans in their anti-Libya “uprising” to let the foreign invaders occupy Libya and control Libyan resources, the so-called rebels-drunkards still do not feel fully satisfied with the genocides committed by both NATO and rebel attacks and even eager to kill more Libyans, though their CIA-NATO bosses seem to be satisfied with their won terror performance in sovereign Libya, destabilizing the nation and let the rebels temporarily control the oil zones.
However, Libya is limping back to normalcy in some way. Rebels are on their back foot and would sooner or later surrender to Libyan state. Although the west promoted rebels have lost the momentum and oil fields to Libyan state, they for the sake of their false prestige want President Col. Mu’amar Al-Qaddafi to quit and let a nominee of rebels or West to take his post to behave like a puppet only to arrange for free flow of oil and gas to West. In actuality, the rebels are deadly scared and worried about punishment for betrayal and anti-Libyan operations with enemy of the state, killing thousands of innocent Libyans.
The rebel drunkards know that Col. Qaddafi is much stronger now than before they began insane anti-Libya terror operations under guidance of NATO terror syndicate led by USA-UK-France terror trio, expect a deal whereby the rebels could easily escape unpunished for their crimes.
The NATO, which keeps killing Muslims in occupied Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq in a sustained manner and spreads all false and fake threats to justify their genocides and illegal occupation, also spreads the rumor that Col. Qaddafi is not interested in peace at all. Since the Western military alliance is against peace n the world, it can easily sell their lies to the essentially anti-Islamic world about Libya. Meanwhile, both NATO and African Union are trying to end the illegal war in Libya waged by NATO terrorist nations and let the nation remains a sovereign country, free form anti-Libyan operations.
Longing for peace in the country, the king of kings, the Libyan President Col. Al-Qaddafi has apparently reached an agreement with negotiators from the African Union that will end the fighting that has killed thousands. South African President Joseph Zuma, who led the delegation of African heads-of-state, has asked NATO to suspend bombing raids so that Al-Qaddafi’s willingness to observe a cease-fire can be tested.
The AU deal's main points are: An immediate ceasefire; the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid; protection of foreign nationals; a dialogue between the government and rebels on a political settlement; the suspension of Nato airstrikes. South African President Jacob Zuma says the Libyan government has accepted an African Union peace proposal to end the eight-week-old conflict. Zuma's AU delegation met Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi in Tripoli on 10th April Sunday. "We have to give the ceasefire a chance," Zuma said, after several hours of talks.
The AU mission comprised representatives from five nations: presidents Jacob Zuma of South Africa, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of Mauritania, Amadou Toumani Toure of Mali and Denis Sassou Nguesso of Congo-Brazzaville, and Uganda's Foreign Minister Henry Oryem Okello. The five-strong panel was approved also by the European Union.
.
In order to put pressure on President Qaddafi to quit, the NATO air strikes have been targeting Libyan civilians, government ammunition bunkers and lines of communication. Welcoming the AU initiative, Nato agent-spokeswoman Oan Lungescu said the alliance had "always made it clear that there could be no purely military solution to this crisis".
An AU team is also going to the eastern rebel stronghold of Benghazi for talks with the deadly misguided anti-Libya rebels. But the deadly weakened rebels said there could be no truce unless Col Qaddafi stepped down and his forces withdrew from Benghazi, an energy zone of Libya. The Libyan army went there to protect the people and resources from enemies from within and outside.
Now Libyan state must take special care about all regions so that in future foreign agencies won’t be able to mislead the Libyans against Libyan interests.
Rebels must realize their folly and betrayal operations against their own nation by being mere tool of colonialism and imperialism and now raise to support the Libyan sovereignty and Col. Qaddafi rule for prosperity of Libya. The opposition, in stead of playing into the dirty hands of foreign colonialist agencies to somehow capture power, try to protect their people now and contest the polls when announced.
Col. Qaddafi has shown the right path to the world as to how to defend sovereignty from enemy- both internal and external. Libyan experience shall be a lesson for all African, Mideastern and other Asian/Latin American nations that do not subscribe to US unipolar move and US led unilateral imperialism. ----------
