Sulamn Rushdie and Dr. Mujeeb in Peshawar University

Dear sir/Madam

It has been learnt from reliable sources that The English Department of the Peshawar University is going to design a new course for English at Master level to be taught at the Master level and post Master Level. In which some book are included the authors of which are high controversial. One amongst these writers are SULMAN RUSHDIE.
 
we strongly protest and condemn the decisionof Peshawar University and the english department to approve TWO BOOKS of SULMAN RUSHDIE its new course. (Shame and MidNight Children are the names of the Books/Novel)
 
This is a step imtentionally taken by some people to creat law and order in this university and in this province.
 
I hope all peaceful, law abiding citizen will contribute to efforts to stop the decision of the prshawar university.

WE also demand the resignation or removal of the Chairman of English Deoartment, Dr. Mujeeb Rahman, University of Peshawar. As he has declared time and again that he will at all cost include these books in the course at any cost whatever

There are a whole bunch of ATHEIST GUYS who are very openly addressing their ideologies.

Dr. Sarfraz, Director, Area Studies Centre, University of Peshawar
Dr. Iqbal Tajik, Ex Chairman Department of Political Sciences and now a retired fellow and

teaching in Centre of Biotechnology, University of Peshawar by the invitation of the Dr.

Bashir of Biotechnology

We request all the patriots of Pakistan to kindly take strong actions against this in a lawful manner
