India: Crime, Corruption and Presidential Poll
Who Controls Fanatic India? (Part- 44)

-COL DR. ABDUL RUFF

-----------------

Unlike the presidential poll in USA or other nations following similar system, the election of a president is not at all that important as generally the ruling party decides the candidate to suit certain formalities. When "elected" the president would just do what he is asked by the government.  With about three months before incumbent Indian President Madam Patil, after enjoying fruits of palatial Rashrtrapati Bhavan in fullest possible ways, demits office, a host of possible successors have now surfaced out which the electoral system would choose one.

In India, a fake democracy, people who love to  stand in long queues to vote as their "right" whenever they are scheduled, giving  "mandate" to the leaders to enjoy life and fool  them, do not elect the president  but the Constitution asks the MPs and MLAs to do that by making some profits.

After successfully murdering thousands of innocent people indoors and neighboring Jammu Kashmir, mainly Muslims, democratic India is now waging a nuclear war against people of Kudankulam in Tamil State and all these "important" personalities trying to get into the Presidential house by hook or crook to enjoy life fully, have not opened their wide mouth in defense of the people of Kudankulam struggling to get the state terror plant shut down.  Indian regime has basketed almost all politicians to promote nuclear terror plants, risking the lives of people but helping the nuclear agents with huge commission cash. .

In India,  polls are directly connected to crime and corruption as money and muscle determine poll strategies and poll outcome. State crime is the order of Indian terrocracy both indoors and in neighboring Jammu Kashmir under Indian brute occupation for decades. India shields crimes and promotes rampant corruption because many in the government also share the booty.

Crime and corruption are closely interlinked just like family relations among Indian politicians. The outgoing Indian president Madam Patil, hailing from Mumbai, known as financial capital with plenty of underworld flexes, is possibly the best example to quote in the respect. When Indian ruling UPA led by Congress party and Sonia gave a rude shock to the nation by "fielding" a corrupt politician with criminal records for the post of president as the first ever woman president, as suggested by those who want their spouses  share power, many eye brows were raised but they closed very soon as Madam Sonia saw to it to get madam Pratibha Devisingh Patil elected to the presidential palace to replace missile man APJ Abdul Kalam, who actively supports nuclearization of India as well as Tamilnad, his home state.

Incumbent president of India madam Pail is now caught red handed while trying to steal the military property for building a personal bungalow  against law obviously with support from the military establishment and military minister AK Antony, not so innocent looking like his boss Manmohan, will have to face the criminal charges on leaving the presidential chair.  By helping Mrs. Patil with land grab, Antony thinks he can assume presidency.

Both Congress and BJP parties, the major political outfits at national level, are particular that Indian president must be a perfect rubber stamp who "illuminates" mere ceremonial post by touring the world at state expenses.

Abdul Kalam served as the 11th President of India, succeeding K. R. Narayanan. He served from July 25, 2002 to July 24, 2007.  For Congress-BJP combine Abdul Kalam is 1005 Indian statesman who prefer to place the state and its military above the people.  According to media reports, some of the possible contenders for the President's post, which falls vacant on July 24 when madam Patil's term ends, include APJ Abdul Kalam, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister's Advisor Sam Pitroda and Infosys' Narayan Murthy.

Prof. Hamaid Ansari’s name has also been informally mentioned by some Congress leaders as a suitable choice though the party has not begun formal discussions on the choice of presidential candidate. Ansari is an academic turned trained Indian tricky politician has already proven his puppetry excellence as the chairperson of upper house of parliament as VP of India by effectively blocking the Lokpal bill which when implemented would check corruption at higher levels. As such he can easily become the routine president of corrupt India to perform the rubbery stamp job with dedication.

The bosses of multinational corporations would possibly prefer the finance minister P Mukherjee to become the next president to support their cause.  They must be "applying" pressure on Madam Sonia and her son to pursue their cause as a token of gratitude for the "funds" they have "released" to ruling party funds without any records.

All these persons are tested puppets ready to serve the regime even against people.  One has no idea as to why the Police minister P. Chidambaram, hailing from Madras, has been mentioned in the media even by mistake.  Do Indian leaders think Chidambaram supports the Kashmir freedom cause which is a humanitarian issue?  He must clear the doubts in people's minds about why he even with economic/financial background is being sidelined by fellow politicians and media.

And there are many more “important” names doing the Delhi rounds but finally Sonia would blast her own candidate. . All are eligible rubber stamps to affix the government decisions with precision just like Kalam's nuclear-capable missile.

A poor Congress show in recent state elections may ensure regional parties, which remain deadly disunited,  hold the key to who will be India's 13th president. Congress-led United Progressive Alliance UPA, BJP -led National Democratic Alliance and the Left parties.  The Congress has 31 percent of the total votes against 24 percent of the BJP in an electoral college for voting for the president. The UPA has a little over 40 percent of the total votes as against 57 percent it had in the last elections. The National Democratic Alliance has less than 30 percent. A candidate proposed by just one group thus could not be the winner.

The Left parties who have lost the assembly polls in Kerala and West Bangal, do not seem to have any interest in the presidential poll as they do not have any scope, are yet to make known their stance on the presidential polls, though they might prefer to go by what Sonia would suggest for the President's post. The Samaj Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that his party has not yet decided on the candidate. "I can't comment about the President's nomination now. My party has not yet had any discussion about the choice of next President. Why are you all in such a hurry? There is a lot of time for the presidential elections, so why are you all in such a hurry?" he said. Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati also spoke on the same lines, saying it was too early to comment. Parties ruling states including Biju Janata Dal and AIADMK apart from SP are likely to have a crucial role in a decision on the presidential candidate as both the UPA and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) do not have majority to get their candidate through.

They all want the Congress to ascertain their candidate first.

The stance of Trinamool Congress, an ally of Congress, will have a bearing on the choice of UPA candidate given that party leader Mamata Banerjee has differed with the Congress on several issues. But she met Sonia and apparently pledged her support for Sonia’s candidate possibly in exchange for extra funds for West Bengal from finance minister Mukherjee who also belongs to this state.  As it stnad, if Mamta extends support to Mukherjee for  his presidential desire, she would get the funds.

All political parties cutting across personal differences want to arrive at a consensus on the president's issue as they can jointly fool the people and share the loots of nation's resources.  Congress, Communalists and Communists want to keep a puppet as president to suit their requirement.

Most of the MPs are extra corrupt protected by the state and they do not want any check on their fanatical operations. This
explains why the hell they oppose Lokpal Bill mooted by Anna Hazare.

Notes

So many presidents have come and gone since 1947, promoting the rich and kicking the poor, promoting the Hindu interests indoors and abroad and kicking the Muslims where it is possible, even presided over the ghastly destruction of Babri Mosque, still shielding the Hindu criminals.

Indian parliament, now infested by corrupt frauds of international standards in all fields, including cricket, is yet to debate the issue and punish the corrupt madam Patil. But will they do that or leave her on "compassion" grounds as a woman to let her retire with some peace?

Supposing a woman Muslim president had so done the same would the MPs kept silent?

Yet, Madam Patil maintains her non-stop foreign tours with huge contingent of people without any change and now she is touring African continent after enjoying western site seeing trips.

Let Madam Patil tour the world and enjoy life with family even while Indian parliament is in hot session, but at whose cost?

And who spends on her elaborate torus?  Or Sonia or Congress party or BJP or Communist parties?

Or, the multinational corporations that controls the Indian regime through the parliament?

Leaders should   know whose money they spend lavishly on foreign  tours.

Is not a major sign of India as being a deformed democracy when a land-grabber is its president while Indian constitution does not provide for punitive measures for the president and premier for their anti-people crimes, for pursuing secret policies? One does not know how much wealth she, her relatives and coterie must have made during the last 5 years of her stay at presidency! Every one seems to get a fair share from the  collective booty Indian system allows the  leaders and parties to "achieve" .

India is guilty of massacres of Kashmir Muslims since 1947. Madam Patil, like all her predecessors have done, has faithfully shielded the  state crimes in Jammu Kashmir and India.

Does new presidents make any sense to people? Will people of India gain anything significantly if a "new" president, politician or non-politician, brought in by the rotten system, takes change in New Delhi?

 I simply can’t guess.
