Pakistan Should Not Reopen the NATO Terror Routes

US-Pakistan relations have been strained in recent months to the point of non-return. Even if restarted, it is clear the relations will not last. There cannot even be improvements at all, let alone progress or normalcy.

Even as Pakistan meeting India are meeting at secretary level in  New Delhi without insisting on for an “apology” for  India abetting terror operations in Pakistan to stabilize it along with NATO,  unilateral Washington  has ordered Pakistan to reopen key NATO supply routes into Afghanistan. USA expects Islamabad to oblige its masters in Washington even after deadly NATO airstrike last year killing Pakistani solders and communicating a strong message to Pakistan that they would kill not just civilians but also the military personnel at will. 

As the NATO boss, the Pentagon claims it has every right to hit any Pakistani on Pakistani soil.  Pakistan closed the NATO terror routes inside Pakistan following the NATO terror attack and since then USA has been pestering Pakistani leaders, even threatening with consequences if they do not reopen the America’s terror “supply routes” in Pakistan.

Pakistan has just demanded that the USA apologize for the terror attack on Pakistani military establishment while the dictatorial USA ignored that demand. At long last in order to somehow get the what the CIA wants in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and as a temporary tact,  US foreign terror minster Hillary Clinton expressed "deepest regrets" for the terror airstrike on Pakistani military. Madam Clinton advised Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar that vital supply routes to Afghanistan, formally known as the "ground lines of communication," or GLOC, will be reopening. She bluffed that no lethal equipment would now transit into Afghanistan, “unless it is to equip Afghan National Security Forces” That means NATO would use the Pakistani soil for subversive operations as before.

Americans still blame Pakistan for NATO attack and try to escape punishments for their crimes in Pakistan since 2001. By making Pakistan as major non-NATO ally, USA has in fact taken full control of Pakistan and destabilized it the way India wanted.

By taking Pakistani surrender before US dictatorship for granted, US military secretary Leon Panetta has already welcomed the reopening of the “supply routes”, hoping that USA would have paid the money for the “services” from Pakistani leaders in killing Muslims. USA has refused additional fees to Pakistan for use of the supply routes, or GLOCs. Pentagon claims that an additional $100 million each month to “transport” supplies which would obviously be spent on terror goods.    "One of the things that has resulted from this is that we have restored the GLOCs, and we are going to be paying the exact same amount as we were paying before.  So we are back to significant savings here." Americans mean terror business. 

USA is keen to restart the terror attacks on the eve of Hly Ramadan as it did  in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. .
