I salute one & one only in 176,745,364 Pakistanis
The caption may look odd if not absurd to some of you if not all of you but please be with me for a while and I will prove that out of total population of Pakistan which is nearing almost 18 crores none but one and one alone deserves at least my salute if not yours. Incidentally, it must be clarified in the most crystal clear terms without slightest shadow of doubt that the noblest soul is completely unknown to me and through media alone I have come to know as to who he is so I am writing it purely at my own without his knowledge and I very much doubt that he will even read it but nevertheless it is written for the information of my compatriots as a whole. Without any reluctance I had lowered my head and bowed before him but since my religion forbids bowing down before anyone except Allah, salute is the maximum on my part to appreciate his nobility.
Before personifying the noblest person it will be quite fair on my part to mention that I have picked up the figures from net so that due credibility is added to what I am going to pen otherwise in absence of such codified source my writing could have been contested. 176,745,364 is the figure of us Pakistanis which we usually refer as 18 crores. Then I wanted to see as to who are our top 10 richest Pakistanis and they are listed as per their raking along with their money shown in US $ against each person namely <i> Mian Mohamamd Mansha (2.5 billion); <ii> President Asif Ali Zardari (1.8 billion); <iii> Sir Anwar Pervaiz (1.5 billion); <iv> Mian Nawaz & Mian Shahbaz Sharif (1.4 billion); <v> Sadruddin Hashwani (1.1 billion); <vi> Nasir Schon (1 billion); <vii> Andul Razzak Yaqoob (1 billion); <viii> Rafiq Habib & Rasheed Habib (900 million); <ix> Tariq Saigol & Nasir Saigol (850 million); <x> Dewan Yousuf Farooqui (800 million).
Malik Riaz Hussain, real estate tycoon is the 1st and the only individual till 2230 Kuwait time and 0030 Pakistan time on Thursday 13th September who has announced cash compensation of rupees 200,000 and 100,000 for those who died and injured respectively in Karachi fire and he is waiting for the list of the beneficiaries to pay them the cash. As a matter of fact, at such like calamity which is unprecedented in Pakistan history and very rare even at global level it was quite but natural to expect that the richest Pakistani will come forward and announce some compensation for the victims but Mansha is completely silent on the issue as if fire incident did not happen. Honestly speaking, had Mansha doled out just nominal money for the destitute I am sure the prayers of those who benefitted from him must have prayed to Allah to bestow His total bounties on Mansha for the help he provided at such grave hour of destitution but alas he did not cash the opportune. The most striking part is that President Asif Ali Zardari who ranks as second richest Pakistani after Mian Mansha has just condoled deaths but did not announce any compensation from his personal wealth and that too at the time when he is seeking another term to continue as head of the state. Had Zardari come to rescue those families whose sole bread earner is gone he would have earned lot of praise amongst Pakistanis and I can very safely and convincingly say that many of those who oppose him for one reason or the other must have crossed over and sided with him to vote in his favor in next general elections which are knocking in any case but he too lost the golden hour. Zardari very much belongs to Sindh and Karachi is the provincial capital of Sindh so from that point of view I doubt he should have ignored alike. I am terribly shocked to see that the one who boasts not just claims to be the most popular leader of Pakistanis is tight lip to give even one paisa repeat one paisa what to talk of millions and I am referring to none but Mian Nawaz Sharif who jointly owns with his brother not less than 1.4 billion US $. The 10th on the list Dewan Yousuf Farooqui too had both moral and religious obligation to come forward and give food to those who are starving since their lone bread earner is no more alive with them rather he or she is burnt alive in Karachi fire but he too queued up like other nine money magnets and did not feel even for a fraction of a second as to how the marooned will now live on.
Malik Riaz Hussain though not listed as one of the 10 richest Pakistanis have topped the list to be honest and I have no hesitation to pen that due to his this humanitarian gesture he sits at the top of the ladder amongst total Pakistanis whether living in the country or overseas. He has proved to the world in general and Pakistan in particular that a true human is the one who cares for other humans and he did it at his own initiative for no monetary personal gains whatsoever but this is what we can see outwardly since whatever money he is giving to these ill-fated families they are not in a position to return him which means his fortune will be less than what he is giving now. Numerically speaking Malik Riaz has lost this money which he is giving to the families of the fire victims but at the same time he is earning much more than what he is losing and this is not what I am saying but our religion Islam tells us. Whatever one gives to the needy Allah gives much more to him and her and this is His eternal principle that He never ever forgets the good deeds of the persons who do so in His name.
Needless to mention even if someone announces more money from his or her personal fortune than what Malik Riaz Hussain has announced I will say at the pitch of my voice that he or she will not be able to bring down Malik Riaz from the top of the ladder whatsoever rather I will go a step father saying that he or she is giving money only as she felt himself or herself smaller before Malik so this is nothing but just face saving attempt. I wish and pray that not just one or two rather as many as possible Pakistanis should come forward and announce paying out whatever for the fire victims. No denying the fact that it is never too late particularly in such like situations and hence at least few of those who are merited amongst richest Pakistanis must voluntarily announce paying some money to elevate the sufferings of the ones who are terribly desperate and need the most. Many power hungry people have not only offered condolences but also issued statements as I saw them on tv screens asking that the factory owner and the government to take care of those whose lives are in danger which is fine but now not the words but cash is needed.
I end by saying aloud that Malik Riaz Hussain has singled out himself as the only individual to feel the real pinch and pain of those who lost smile and inherited tears instead. I salute repeat salute to none but Malik Riaz Hussain. Who opposes me, why and how?
