Pretentions can be elusive too. Well, let us presume that Americans are the top animals today every ready to pounce upon those whom they consider as threats to their imperialist outrages. USA like many other terrocracies claims to be one of the largest democracies but it has just a convenient two party system by which only Republican and Democratic parties put forward their candidates for presidency and one of two gets elected.
World perhaps thinks that people of America elect their president directly. But that is not the case. The presidential election in the United States is an indirect election, which means that the citizens vote for 538 representatives of political parties known as electors who cast votes on their behalf. In order to win, a presidential candidate must get at least 270 electoral votes. If a candidate fails to get the majority of the vote, Congress elects the President and the Senate elects Vice-President under the terms of the 12 Amendment. Currently, Obama and Romney are running neck and neck like filmy anti-heroes and the fascist media supporting each of them do promote their favourite.
American political elite that is reluctant to admit that the U.S. mechanisms of democracy are no longer effective and are outdated.
America has its permanent foreign policy interests and it resorts to all possible means to reach its goals. However, it has now failed on foreign policy front as it is evident from the ongoing WW- III
Today no one would argue that the USA is no more the planet’s most powerful country. Many, however, see signs of an upcoming decline, in spite of all its advantages. But many boldly argue that the dictatorial America can no longer remain the world’s leader although it is not quite aware of this bad sign..
.
US presidents do not bother about the foreign policy challenges faced by the nation while continuing with and escalating terror wars indefinitely. This explains why America is on the decline
Presidential poll is a routine affair though world takes keen interest in it. The spirit of American unilateralism and exceptionalism has derailed all ambitions of Americans,
Since anti-humanity phenomena like imperialism and capitalism remain the central themes of both candidates and both defend these US policies, there is no fundamental difference between Obama and Romney! Once in office, both will behave in similar manner as the Pentagon-CIA would dictate their job requirements. . -------
