Muslims under siege in Sri Lanka!

Absolute madness! Today, any third rate regime can kill Muslims anywhere in the world as freely as wild  beasts and street criminals do. 

Since the onset of Sept-11 hoax in USA, Muslims have become the main target of chauvinist anti-Islamic groups across the globe. Every nation ahs tried to make use of the Islamophobia trends to crush Muslims.

Not only in the western advanced terrocracies as well as Russia, but also in third world weak terrocracies the cruelty of anti-Islamism is being religiously practiced. India, Myanmar and Sri Lanka top the nations that spread hatred for Islam and target Muslims.

In order to end Tamil problem president Mahinda Rajapakse very effectively used Muslims as bargain chip to force the Tamils to settle for Chief Minister post and end crisis. Rajapkse's  tactical announcement of his "intention" to appoint a Muslim as a chief minister  in fact drove the Tamils to hurry up and throng his office and coerced them to seek the CM post for themselves in exchange for peace. Sri Lanka began its  military offensive on LTTE Tamils only after that settlement. Successive Sri Lankan governments have repeatedly used communal discrimination and provocations to divide the working class along ethnic lines and Rajapakse is no exception.

Fomenting communalism is part of the SL government’s preparations for police state repression against the common people with possible austerity measures in future. Decades of official anti-Tamil discrimination led to the bloody protracted war against the separatist Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Now, nearly four years after the LTTE’s defeat, the government and the military have launched a propaganda campaign aimed at stirring up anti-Tamil sentiment by alleging that the LTTE is reviving.

An organization called Bodu Bala Sena (the Buddhist Power Force) like Indian Hindutva RSS is in the forefront of organising and unleashing violence against Muslims in various parts of Sri Lanka an island nation in South Asia - obviously with state backing. Recently Bodu Bala Sena launched a provocation against Muslims at Buwelikada, a small town 15 kilometres from Kandy in the Central Province. The town’s predominantly Muslim population includes small shop owners and vendors. The fanatic government immediately deployed units of the notorious police special task force (STF), whose members sympathize with anti-Islam agenda and therefore did not arrest the culprits, but instead were sympathetic toward the thugs.

Amid the country’s deepening economic and social crisis, Lankan leader Mahinda Rajapakse’s government is again giving tacit support to communal provocations against Sri Lanka’s minorities, particularly Muslims, in a bid to keep the Buddists together to support the fanatic regime.

As in Israel where the fanatic Zionist regime is made of anti-Islamic and anti-Palestine gangs and interest groups, Mahinda Rajapakse’s government is also composed anti-Islamic parties. Like Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU), a partner in the ruling coalition, Bodu Bala Sena claims that Muslims are a threat to Buddhism. Its declared purpose is to “strengthen and defend the Buddhist religion” and its heritage.

The SL police allows Buddhist flags to be forcibly placed atop Muslim houses and businesses and also  loudspeakers been installed on a Muslim business building, with Buddhist religious preaching continuously disturbing people and inconveniencing in  religious activities of Muslims because of the noise of loudspeakers.. One resident commented: “We have lived in harmony with the Sinhalese. But I can’t understand what is going to happen now.” 

Singhalese provocations seek to recruit disoriented poor and young people as shock troops, as part of a systematic campaign against Muslims.

What is alarming is communal majority outfits claim to be parallel police forces. A fanatic leader of Bodu Bala Sena leader, Galaboda Gnanasara, also a ruling coalition partner, the JHU, declared that Muslim extremists were seeking to create a separate state in the east. He provided no evidence for his claims, which were calculated to provoke reprisals against Muslims. He claimed that Bodu Bala Sena was an “unofficial police force,” demonstrating the organization’s readiness to resort to violence, taking the law into its own hands. On January 2, with a view to fueling the crisis Gnanasara urged people to boycott goods with a Muslim Halal label. It is catering to business, big and small, while pitting poor people against each other along ethnic and religious lines.

The anti-Muslim tirade and tyranny unofficially sponsored by the Lankan state is very similar to how Indian Hindutva thugs behave with Muslims with Hindutva minded state backing. . Maybe India advises them to do that way. Tensions are so high that another attack and clash could take place at any time. In an attempt to defuse the situation and keep the Singhalese and regime in good humors, Muslims had even helped erect a Buddha statue in Buwelikada. But extremist monks continued their communal agitation on bogus g rounds. Anti-Muslim posters had been pasted in the town, before people removed them. 

No need to stress the point that Colombo misbehaves with Muslims in anticipation of support from the anti-Islamic western terrocracies, among others, for state crimes on Muslims. After all global anti-Islamic infrastructures (GAI) are very active and collaborate against Muslims.

Anti-Islamic campaigns are spearheaded by global anti-Islamic media (GAM). Sri Lankan media have intensified  their extra pro-Sinhalese fanaticism, targeting Islam and Muslims , while  looking to USA, Israel and India for support. . 

It is high time the UNSC woke from the comforts of bed and strike whip on state backed thugs in Sri Lanka. 

Of course, not just in Sri Lanka but in all other countries  where anti-Islamic trends  continue to harm the Muslims in modern democratic times. 

Interestingly, while  in attacking MuslIms Sri Lanka regime is trying to  seek Indian support for escaping punishment for  its extra crimes  against Indian/Tamils, there  is not even a feeble  criticism  of attack on Muslims in Sri Lanka  by Islamic world, and both Pakistan and Bangladesh vying for Indian black money have kept their  dirty mouths shut on the Lankan cruelty towards Muslims. 

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh puppet terrocracies consider the attack on Muslims in Myanmar as cruel but  the same in Sri Lanka is tolerable for some cynical reasons. NATO rouges  have the tacit support of Arab world  for their  crimes in Pakistan, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Iran.

Enemies of Islam  have ensured the support for their anti-Muslim crimes from some rogues in Islamic world itself. 

That is cause for the tragedy of millions of Muslims world wide!
