Have you got arms for sale? India needs them!

India’s official hunger for terror goods is simply
amazing! Perhaps India is incomparable in this respect with world nations. But
India is proud of its weapons status at the cost of common people
who are suffering due to mal nutrition
and laughable and pathetic poverty levels.
Rather India, calming to be democracy, is not at all ashamed of its false
pretensions as a weapon state.
Post-Cold war India has amassed huge resources by selling
all state properties to their favorite multinationals and it does not want to
spend on the poor whom the resources really belong. Indian leaders and bureaucracy and military
do not want to think it wise to spend the extra money made out of state
property sales because they consider the poor as a
beggar class not requiring any
sympathy in the emerging crony capitalist scenario worldwide, led by super power and unilateral America.
The five largest arms suppliers worldwide between 2009
and 2013 were the United States (29 percent of global exports), Russia (27
percent), Germany (7 percent), China (6 percent) and France (5 percent).
They collectively accounted for 74 percent of total arms
exports.
Britain was the largest importer of major weapons in
Europe (receiving
12 percent of deliveries), followed by Azerbaijan (12 percent)
and Greece (11 percent).
World’s top five arms importers were now India, China,
Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Indian leaders, living as parasites by depending on
corporates, think their duty to promote the interests of the rich and
corporates. Some of them are also
involved in arms sale and military deals.
Sale of arms has been increasing globally on large scale.
World weapon sales are now up 14 per cent with USA, Russia, and China taking
the lead in terrorizing the humanity already trembling with NATO-Israel fascist
wars.
An innocent looking India remains the top ranked buyer of
terror goods form all possible regional arms markets.
India thus remains the biggest buyer of arms in the
world, importing nearly three times as many weapons as its nearest competitors
China and Pakistan over the last five years.
However, New Delhi is not fully satisfied w the arms
arsenals it possesses now, it wants to further increase them and waste nation’s
resources instead of spending on the needy people. . .
India replaced China as the world’s biggest arms buyer in
2010. With its domestic defence industry struggling to manufacture high-tech
arms, India is in the midst of a defence spending binge as it struggles to keep
up with better-equipped Chinese forces and a range of military challenges in
its volatile neighborhood. Indian
imports of major weapons rose by 111 percent in the last five years compared to
2004-08. Its share of total global arms imports increased from 7 to
14 percent.
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research
Institute, the total volume of arms sales was up 14 percent in 2009-13 compared
to the previous five years .The main supplier of arms to India in 2009-13 was
Russia, accounting for 75 percent of all imports — reflecting India’s need to
upgrade and modernize weapons systems dating back to their close relationship
during the Cold War.
In order to keep the big powers in good humors to retain
Kashmir, India has lately sought to diversify its sources, looking particularly
to the USA. India became the biggest
buyer of US weapons last year — with total imports worth $1.9 billion, and a
string of large-scale purchases including Boeing’s C-17A transport aircraft and
P-8I Maritime Patrol Aircraft. In
2009-13, however, the US still accounted for only 7 percent of India’s
purchases.. Pakistan increased its weapons acquisitions, growing from 2 percent
of the global total to 5 percent during that period.
Chinese, Russian and US arms supplies to South Asia are
driven by both economic and political considerations. In particular, China and
the USA appear to be using arms deliveries to Asia to strengthen their
influence in the region. Arms exports to Africa between 2004-08 and
2009-13 jumped 53 percent. The three largest importers in
the region were Algeria, Morocco and Sudan. It is noteworthy that the imports
by European nations decreased by 25 percent between 2004-2008 and 2009-13.
In order to allow the regimes to buy more and more arms,
the rulers terrorize the people by secret joint operations with neighboring
nations for generating fear and tensions. India does this tragic operation by
colluding with Pakistan of course secretly and in a discreet manner. The new cross border trade and transport
enables both India and Pakistan to undertake
terror projects in Kashmir.
Weapons are necessary for the pure defence of the nations
but India simply cheats the people in buying huge piles of terror arsenals,
both conventional and nuclear by making a self-destabilizing Pakistan as its
prime target. Pakistan depends on USA for arms and destabilization process of
Islamabad.
India is deadly sure USA would not invade India in the
near future thank mainly to India money flowing restlessly into America, among
other important powers. All that India wants is the US-EU-China support for its
illegal occupation of neighboring Kashmir, brutally.
West and China also shield Indian crimes against
humanity. .
The nations that have just bare minimum terror goods and
military
equipment exist
healthier than others that keep buying arms in
sustained manners, thereby only helping the ruling
parties to make huge money in commissions from weapon mafias. .
The new ruling party or coalition should consider
seriously about making the poor and under privileged sections of the nation in
better living conditions.
Needless to state here that only the Aam Aadmi party has
the capacity and we ill to implement
that policy the best possible ways.
