Zardari never wrote "May Gaad give us strut to save Pakistan", says spokesman

(ANI)

Islamabad, Sept 27 : A presidential spokesman has denied media reports claiming that President Asif Ali Zardari had misspelled words "God" and "strength" in his message written in the visitor's book kept at the Mazar-e-Quaid when he visited it on September 11. ("May gaad give us the strunt to save Pakistan")

The spokesman said that some unknown persons had sent mysterious emails to different journalists, TV channels and newspapers in which it had been claimed that Zardari misspelled these words.

"It was a malicious campaign initiated by some anti-democratic elements to tarnish the image of President Asif Ali Zardari," The News quoted the spokesman as saying.

The spokesman made it clear that the President had not committed any such mistake while writing his views in the visitors' book and the message sent by the "hidden hands" was "totally fake and fabricated".

He added that the President had written "May God give us strength to save Pakistan" instead of "May Gaad give us strut to save Pakistan", which was being propagated by the "hidden hands" through the email.
