Debate on Kashmir: UN under Big Pressure?
It is being expected that the UN chief, during his present visit to India , would discuss with Indian leaders about the explosive Kashmir freedom issue, but Indian are mad after him and coercing him not to encourage the "Kashmiri terrorists". It seems Indo-US has applied pressure n the poor UN custodian Ban-ki Moon to avoid Kashmir issue and concentrate n other issues in South Asia . United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, who was scheduled to arrive in India yesterday on a two-day visit, is expected to discuss the conflict situation in Sri Lanka with Indian leaders and other government officials, Indian media reports said. The UN Chief is scheduled to meet Indian leaders .including opposition leader BJP's LK. Advani.
The current global financial crisis is expected to dominate the discussions that Mr. Moon will have with the Indian leaders. Amid calls for the revamping of international financial institutions, the two sides would be looking at ways to prevent recurrence of such an economic crisis. Significantly, the visit comes just before the meeting of world leaders called by the US to discuss the financial meltdown that is threatening the economies of most countries. The issue of climate change is also expected to figure prominently in the discussions. The two sides are also expected to discuss issues related to the region, especially the situation in Pakistan , Afghanistan , Sri Lanka and Nepal , the anti-Kashmir and anti-Islamic Indian media reported.
It is amply clear the same Indo-US tragic influence has made shift the Presidential poll outcome of Maldives . In the run off, the president was declared lost the election to the standard criminal and the now opposition leader. It is unfortunate that UN chief behaves like a small time leader advancing the interests of the global terrorist nation USA and its so-called "strategic partners, like India . Now it is pretty clear how the UN is being run Big Terrorists against the genuine interests of the small nations. One does no if Ban is also being br4ibed by India to keep silent about Indian genocide in Jammu Kashmir.
