Gilani's offer to Quit
The Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has offered to resign if someone had a better solution to the country's problems. I accept the challenge and I am serious. I will not only turn it around for the better but also make it an aid giver country within a year. Lest someone has any doubts about my intentions and capabilities, I will put my life at stake for it.
In that:-
a. If I fail to deliver what I promise in the stipulated period, I could be guillotined in public.
b. If I misuse my powers in ANY way for the self or against the interest of the country, I could again be hanged from the tallest pole in the country.
c. I will declare my assets to the last penny on assuming the office and also on leaving it after one year and if there is any untoward increase in them, I shall stand an open public trial for it.
d. I shall leave the office after one year. And, If I don't, I could be lynched.
Now, for accomplishing such a gigantic task in so short a time too, I would need absolute powers to hire, fire and hang anyone found acting against the interest of the country. I would promulgate a few Ordinances and would not like any feet dragging or political pressures for and against these from any quarter. Pleas no cliché like "“ absolute power corrupts absolutely, etc. I am putting my life at stake for doing a job; as such I need absolute freedom of action. I and I alone will be entirely responsible for my ALL actions and would be accountable for them. Nation has to trust someone if it wants to be out of the quagmire.
Mr. Prime Minister, I am ready. Let me know when you are.
Truly
