A Free Kashmir: Random Thoughts-43

A deadline for the Indian terror forces to QUIT Kashmir

India continues its terror atrocities in Kashmir as its basic right and Kashmiris have lost even their fundamental rights. Kashmiris have not yet set a deadline for the occupying terrorist India to depart form their nation emboldening the occupiers to further advance its hidden agenda. Apart from seeking legitimacy for its terror misrule and continue with genocides in Kashmir, India is dead-focused on JK poll for yet another very important reason. It wants to convince the freedom leaders that they have lost another chance to make their presence felt in JK assembly by participating in the Indian military controlled polls in JK. The great idea behind this is the freedom groups would have won the polls if it had forged an alliance with one of the pro-India parties like PDP they would have come to power.

Frauds in India, however, fail to comprehend the simple fact about the Kashmiris freedom fighters: they are not fighting for power or Indian cash or sympathy. Nor the freedom leaders seek the support of Indian Hindu media ill-focused on Kashmiris and Muslims in India. Rather, they are struggle for independence for the entire Kashmir nation, to remove the Indian terror forces and secure sovereignty and dignity back from fascist India.

Another curfew is imposed "unofficially" to prevent senior freedom leader Geelani's TRC march and Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq proposed visit to Bandipore for poll boycott. Authorities, sources said, have decided to seal all the entry points leading to Srinagar.  The state strategists tried to foil the TRC march and the anti-poll campaign called by the Chairmen of the Hurriyat factions.

As India keeps Kashmiris under duress and oppression, Kashmir has become curfew bound state almost indefinitely, both officially and unofficially. In order to avid criticism of the world bodies about Indian weak democracy, nowadays India has gone for undeclared curfew, which in reality means the  same torture and harassment for Kashmiris. Kashmiris have to resolve the Kashmir issue only in their favor so that they are ultimately free from India machinations and genocides. India is becoming aware of the hidden fact that Jammu Kashmir was once a free country and it was annexed by India quite tactfully with UK support and that now it has to surrender sovereignty sooner than later.

All these years, Indian terror forces tried all tricks to suppress and silence the freedom seeking Kashmiris. To the horror of India, now tens of thousands of people joined freedom struggle to kick the Indian forces out of their lands. The Muzafarabad, Eidgah, Pampore and TRC chalo marches during the past three months have strengthened their resolve to stress for their legitimate freedom from occupying India. As an anti-democratic nation generally does, almost all top leadership of the CC has been arrested and majority of them have been booked by Indian governments under the notorious Public Safety Act (PSA).

But if Kashmiris think India would quit Kashmir just like that on their own after the polls, if held, they are once again mistaken. India is using its diplomatic channels to influence the foreign capitals, including the in Arab countries, to let India have a hold over Kashmir. US president elect Obama Barrack is under sever pressure form Indian lobbyists to sympathetically consider Indian case in Kashmir in return for favors for US actions around the world.

At Kashmir level, by executing new strategies, India is striving hard with the help of pro-India politicians in Kashmir and Jammu to impose the polls on Kashmiris reeling under military terrorism. Since a democratic India wants to legitimize its misrule in JK by holding the polls, it does not think imposition of curfews and polls are illegal. But India questions the right of Kashmiris to boycott the polls. The section 144 is already in force in the valley and the decision of imposing undeclared curfew lies with the state administration.

In staed of thrashing and boycotting the poll strategy of India to teach a lesson to New Delhi, the pro-India leaders are using the poll an opportunity to to rule and ruin the lives of Kashmiris. A pro-Hindutva party, National Conference's NC is hoping to rule JK once again by forging alliance with Congress if the polls are held and they get enough seats. NC's chief ministerial candidate Farooq Abdullah called for a time-bound resolution of the problem, adding "it was possible if the hearts of those involved in the process were clear."  Abdullah rejected US President-elect Barack Obama's idea of appointing Bill Clinton to resolve the Kashmir problem. "People are sick of strikes. The PDP and Congress will be badly hit because of the NRI Hindu god illegal land acquisition controversy. Once the new government comes, the Hurriyat will know their place," Abdullah said, maintaining a guarded silence on the possibility of post-poll alliance with the Congress.

The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir described the issue as "bilateral" between India and Pakistan, and said it could only be resolved through a dialog between the two countries. There is no hope for our children. This is the legacy of the Congress-PDP misrule, which we will undo," Abdullah said, insisting that the Hurriyat's separatist politics would not be able to deter voters who want change. Promising to bring the Hurriyat on board for talks with the Centre, if voted to power, Abdullah blamed the "separatists" for economic losses in the valley.

Double color attitude of pro-India Kashmir leaders is not a new trend. They like Indian favors, New Delhi's avenues and dinners. They also say Kashmir should be free, if India "agrees", as if Indian strategists who breathe anti-Muslimism and drink hatred for Muslims and Kashmiris would give them freedom in a silver plate.  But they are terribly worried about Indian terror policy which could be used to repress them as well. What is lacking in them is courage and love for independence and a free Kashmir and free people. What they need is power and Indian cash. That kills innocent Kashmiris and is the problem for defenseless Kashmiris now.

It is high time these pro-India elements joined the freedom strugggle by acceptng the invitation extended by senior freedom leader Geelani and lead the struggle along with other leaders. Time is running out for them.

Post-script

Hindus and Muslims have been divided like never before  in JK. India cannot expect the freedom leaders to share the responsibility for the Indian terror and genocide and India cannot make them take part in mischievous polls under terror environment and help India justify its killing of over one lakh innocent Kashmirs. No, India cannot bully the Kashmiris the way it used to until recently. Kashmiris are getting united and better organized now than never before. Jk police led by hardcore Hindus are ready to kill some more Kashmiris on poll boycott.

As a tricky India is forcing a poll on unwilling Kashmiri in a militarized and curfew bound, the world, now aware of all Indian dirty deigns in Kashmir, is keenly watching the situation emerging in Kashmir now. Kashmiris leaders, both official pro-India and the freedom fighting ones, have got the option still available, before it is too late, to ask India with one voice to QUIT Kashmir and let Kashmiris decide their own fate devise their policies to shape their destiny. Of course, time is running out very fast. Now stop the Indian poll in Jammu Kashmir and let the whole world hear the Kashmir voice!
