Bangladesh, which way?

Today, the Islamic world is under serious threat from anti-Islamic forces while the Muslims are under virtual siege, but the Islamic nations and Muslim leaders are least bothered about the developments and only are interested in increasing their wealth by any means. The anti-Islamic world supported by harsh media and emboldened by the Islamaphobia skillfully generated around the world to terrorize Muslims and others, are trying to create stumbling blocks to the Islamic faith. The ploy of terrorism has been created and engineered across the world by the CIA-Pentagon-Mossad-RAW coalitions to project Islam a terrorist organization and Muslims as "suspected" terrorists. And they also skillfully use some quirky Muslims like one Osama to their advantage. Mischievous media play disastrous role on getting more Muslims into anti-Islamic bandwagons, after being termed them as suspected category of Muslims..

So-called democracy threat has caught the Islamic world unawares as several self-centered Muslims in every society want to swindle the common resources as well as neighbors' on democracy pretexts and they keep enhancing the profits levels as well. Although conditioned by anti-Islamic thoughts, these "Muslims" don't openly renounce or denounce Islam or its tenets, they do prefer the western and other awkward civilizations for monetary gains. Islamic nations thus are at a loss to find proper ways to make their countries welfare states, let alone real Islamic ones. Bangladesh, now surcharged with "democratic wings", is totally confused as to which way to proceed and how. Leftist oriented Bangladeshis having long "connections" with West Bengal counterparts probably consider Islam a part of Hinduism as well as communism. As a result BD people have more or less lost Islamic identity. Globalized mindset has split even families in such countries where sons have Muslim names and daughters are given Hindu names. They call themselves the neo- secular democrats and want to make Muslims non-Muslims in practice, if not anti-Islamic.

At society level, Bangladesh, catering to the needs of the rich and official hi-deshis, is one of those states that, unfortunatley,  ignore even the ordinary human touch in dealing with its citizens. On the front of human welfare of voter, the BD government cleverly leaves the matter to God while swindling the resources for a section of the high society that make the people vote for their favorite party or block. Bangladeshi media, like their western and Indian counterparts do, do publish some articles on Islam just for the sake of providing quota for Islamic thoughts as well, but none of them think constructively to make the people true Muslims, for, the  media, looking to western or "progressive" sources,  don't promote Islam. Neither poverty is reduced nor is illiteracy level brought down any significantly. Hypocrisy should be the highlight of the government and media endeavors in Bangladesh even if the country would like to follow Indian model for problems.

Is Islam, then, just for fun and profits? Bangladesh seems to be in a dilemma or crisis, crushed between progressiveness and poverty, perhaps even between Islam and communism. They seem to create an admixure of all. One fails to understand which way Bangladesh is moving? Or is it following some vague concepts, already abandoned by many naitons, to replace Islamic way of life? Tue, today there is not even one Islamic nation practicing true Islam and the only nation, Afghanistan, which embarked upon Sharia' was destroyed by US-led anti-Islamic, neo-imperialist western forces, ably supported by eneemie sof Islam. Afghanistan was perhaps going too fast. It is expected that countries like Bangladesh would come out with steps to establish a real Islamic democracy. But the pictures emerging from the country are revealing to the contrary.

Encourage by the US-eld West and G8, every thrid world Mulim naiton is promoting capitlism by pursuinig pro-rich policies. Rich does not require any special state support mechanisms; they know how to diversify the resources to loot the people.  But the BD government does not show enough sincerity expected of any custodians of a state. Ferry accidents kill hundreds of people and leave many unaccounted for in Bangladesh every year, and families of the victims are not compensated. Human life seems to the cheapest item in that semi-Islamic and semi-progressive, essentially non-human nation.

One of the highly politicized nations with zero net positive gains for the people, Bangladesh is planning to uplift the rich Bengalis in the country. Ordinary human beings are treated as dogs and cats. About 100 people were missing on 19 February after a launch capsized in southern Bangladesh following a collision with a cargo vessel. The ferry was carrying more than 150 passengers when it sank in Kirtonkhola River in Barisal district, nearly 170 kilometers (106 miles) from Dhaka. The body of one of the victims was found, while about 50 passengers were either rescued or managed to swim to safety. the cargo vessel involved in the collision had been seized. "We are trying to locate the sunken ferry," Police officer Nuruzzaman said. Officials said some of the passengers had boarded the launch without buying tickets -- something common across Bangladesh where many river accidents occur due to overloading and inexperience or negligence of the crew.

Bangladesh is affected not only by rampant corruption and crime plus gross violations of all rights, but also devastating natural calamities.Capitalism and many other such systmes promote crime, terroirsm and corruption  and Mulims dont seem to hesitate to get into their trap for a few coins. Cheating, deceptions, looting and other forms of fraud have dominated the routine life of many Muslims today in all countries.

Unfortunately, like political parties  engaged in blame game to escape criticism of their errors and wrong doings encouraging corruption and other anti-people phenomena, Bangladesh takes pride in accusing Pakistan of not doing what is expected of Islam, but it refuses to practice it by itself and set an example for the Islamic world to emulate. In fact every Muslim nation has duty towards Islam and Muslims and by hiding behind the jargons like democracy and market economy the Islamic world is deceiving the Muslims and denouncing Islamic tenets. Once the state behaves well the people would reverse the anti-Islamic behaviors and come forward to practice Islam in true Islamic spirits. Is that unacceptable to Bangladesh, Pakistan and other Islamic countries, or, objectionable to Arab world?
