So long as Kashmiri Muslims remain uncommitted to a well-knit program of action and future plan for a free Kashmir, their fighting for sovereignty back from an arrogant India might yield no tangible results, especially when the pro-India elements, by playng into New Delhi's hands for favors and profits, don't openly seek independence from New Delhi . As a result every Indian leader prefers to preach decency to Kashmiris and offer unsolicited lessons on democracy, because India, like Israel did it recently for continuation of terror war in Palestine, could hold "democratic" polls in JK conducted by occupying terror forces.
Kashmiris struggling to meet both ends are not concerned about the fact that India has very cleverly made a Hindu Dy Cheifminsiter after poll and let a Muslim become CM as usual. Many Kashmiris think Inida is going to let Jammu Kashmir free on that noteand failed to comprehend the Indian "securalism". India never allows a Muslim to become Deputy CM in core Indian states or Union territories. Of now, India has 27 states and 7 Union territories, (apart from Jammu Kashmir which has also been made a state), but none of these states or union territories has a Muslim Chief minister or Deputy CM at least to claim some sort of secular character or to prove its democratic credentials. Besides, the both the central and state government systematically ignore the legitimate concern of Muslims and are interested only in popping up a band of billionaires. The tr3nds is supported even by the communists, because that suits them.
Sonia's Injection
Heavily influenced by the mischievous Indian media, essentially anti-Muslim in essence and anti-Kashmir and anti-Pakistani in focus, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi also spoke about India democracy, but asking the Kashmiris, now under continued Indian illegal occupation and terror genocides, to emulate the Indian democracy is a big joke, if not a mockery of democracy as a global instrument for positive changes in society. It is unfortunate that she, like other ordinary Indian leaders do, teach democracy lessons to Kashmiris struggling for regaining sovereignty back from occupying terror India .
Being a part of the ruling dispensation for years, Mrs. Sonia represents the continuity of Indian mechanisms and machinations, Indian colonialism, state terrorism, militarization of alien Jammu Kashmir and genocides. Whether she agrees with what Indian dispensations did during the past several decades in and around India , she never opposed any thing that makes Indian monopoly and hegemony around the region. The freedom leaders have reacted very sharply reacted to Sonia's hasty remarks without knowing the ground reality in Kashmir where every day is a death day. Liberation Front Chairman Farooq Siddiqi has reacted sharply to Sonia Gandhi's statement and termed it as "devoid of conventional etiquette and lack of political acumen" on the part of UPA chairperson. Sonia during her Kashmir visit said separatists should learn lesson from the democracy of India . Indians must learn the lesson that despite spending billions on military and security infra structure on reinforcing the occupation, India has failed to win over the hearts and minds of people in Kashmir .
Like the military establishment and their strategists do, Sonia Gandhi, perhaps, is also equating democracy with genocides as she preaches democracy both to the killed and to dying Kashmiris. The democracy that has killed more than hundred thousand men women and children, a democracy that has been responsible of killing and dumping people in mass graves, a democracy which still has to answer for tens of thousands of disappeared Kashmiris who presumably have been extra judicially terminated, a democracy that belies the international covenants and resolutions, a democracy that belies its own commitment does not qualify as being exemplary where from lessons can be learnt." Siddiqi said exemplifying Indian democracy in Kashmir shows lack of respect for moral and human right values that every statesman or stateswoman must inculcate irrespective of what political school of thought he or she believes in.
Obviously, the pro-freedom leaders and people are on a higher moral ground and dedicated to serve Kashmir despite being incarcerated, assassinated and exiled. Comparing them with the so called mainstream pro-India variety leaders whose history in Kashmir politics has been limited to becoming instrument of occupation and always keen on feeding on the recompense that Indians offer in return to their services as subservient, according to Siddiqi, reflects the level of respect for human dignity that does not conform to the position of President of Indian National Congress."
It has become a sheer habit for many Indians both in India and serving other countries to boast themselves of Indian culture, democratic and secular credentials, tolerance and non-violence and peaceful policies, etc, whereas India follows nuclearism deals, subversive policies in the neighborhoods and instigate Hindus in India and Indians abroad to fight for Hindus and Indian causes every where.
Indian Perpetual Threats
The process of peace and reconciliation between India and Pakistan would be never ending one so long as India refuses to see reason to wake up to the emerging realities now when UN, USA and UK are pressing India for peaceful resolution of JK issue. Emboldened by its military power, Indian leaders continue to evade the global appeals for peace in the reign. Aside from Jammu Kashmir issue, India is also keen to see Indian Muslims don't love Pakistanis or Bangladeshis on religious account. And, hence Indian leaders are encouraging anti-Islamic propaganda by media and deliberately delaying the peace process.
India keeps enhancing military outlay to boost military output and threatens neighbors and keeps Kashmir under military custody. While the majority of princely states absorbed into India have been fully integrated, a few outstanding issues remain. The most prominent of these is in relation to Kashmir , where a violent freedom movement has been raging since the late 1980s when India began reckless militarization of JK.
Kashmiris mark Black India on every Jan 26 the date when India tactfully credited alien Jammu Kashmir into Indian Union in 1950 against the wishes of the Kashmiris. That India has managed a few Hindus and Muslims from the region for a price like positions and jobs in India does not offer any real legitimacy for the Jammu Kashmir being a part of India . Stolen nation remains a black mark on Indian democracy status. India insistence on denying dues to Muslim employees could perhaps help Indians quench their false prestige taste. But that does not solve the Jammu Kashmir issue because that is India 's neighbor state.
India keeps looking for opportunities to annex its neighbors by enacting subversive activities there. In 1947 immediately annexed Jammu Kashmir made the Kashmiris slaves, pro-India and pro-Kashmir. Jammu Kashmir now serves as buffer zone for India and a battlefield for any prospective war with its northern neighbors. The former princely state of Sikkim, located at a strategically important point on the border between India and China , was integrated into India in 1975 as its 22nd state.
Dreaming for a "greater India", Indians fueled crises in Sri Lanka by providing "assistance "to Tamils living there sought to create a nation for New Delhi to remote operate, but when the Indians were killed by Lankan military, neither Indian government, nor the Indian Diaspora looking for jobs and benefits abroad nor Indian media extended a helping hand in welcoming the deprived Indians to come back to India and live among true Indians. This is Indian democracy. This nuclear democracy is indeed a serious threat to the region and hence to world peace.
