Holocaust in Palestine: Time running out for Israel

Preamble

History has several instances of tyrants and dictators and fascists eventually end themselves in disaster and fascist Israel occupying the Palestinians ands and killing them in a sustained manner cannot escape the devastating end ultimately and they could even be drowned in Dead Sea, if they still refuse to mend ways to stop holocaust drives and let the Palestinians make their home land on their own lands. Neither USA nor any of its anti-Islamic allies would come to its rescue and rather would abandon Jewish companionship sooner than later. Iran has already become a virtual nuclear state and is testing its missiles to target entire Israel as a punishment for its cruelty, brutality and holocaust in Palestine for decades since 1948. However, Tel-Aviv could resolve the Mideast crisis in a peaceful manner by involving the Arabs.

I- The Quartet, Ineffective tool for peace

Israel is playing tricks with Palestinians and the world at large by mixing Palestine issue with local politics and polls and take shelter behind US and EU covers. But Iran has urged Israel to skip the tricks to come to terms with emerging reality and resolve the Palestine issue under land for peace plan envisaged by Arabs to ensure peace in the region and not to allow proliferation of arms race in the region. Being close to Israel, the Quartet has not played its role efficiently to achieve peace in the region by restraining fascist Israel from continuous holocaust in Palestine and containing their recurring invasions of neighborhoods.

Today, many of its terror actions of Israel (and its terror allies like USA and India) are justified on “security grounds” Israeli holocaust and illegal settlement are as much devastating as WMD and UN and UNSC must arrest the trends and the criminals concerned. Israel is rather encouraged by the USA, EU and the Quartet to unleash terror on the defenseless Palestinians. Hence Israel just ignores any criticism of its illegality, immorality and holocaust in Palestine. Since the Quartet includes most of the world's rich and powerful countries it does makes one wonder what exactly they have been doing.

The quartet, which includes Russia, the US, the EU and the UN, was criticized last year for "losing its grip" on the situation, because of its double-speaks and open support for fascist Israel. The failure of the Quartet to remove the severe restrictions on the free movement of Palestinians also constitutes a fatal threat to the broader peace process. US policy towards the Israelis and the Palestinians has been failing. Before Mrs. Clinton, Condoleezza Rice also as US Secretary of State said that she is not happy about the growth of Jewish settlements but US did nothing to stop because fascist Israel is not a Muslim nation.

The Quartet’s official agenda is to make Israel agree for a reliable and conclusive settlement of issues and help establish the much hyped Palestine state on lands now under Israeli occupation.  In practice, Quartet represents the anti-Islamism spirits of it member-states and sides with Israeli fascism. For the last eight years the Israeli promoters of Jewish settlements have known that what has mattered most has been the attitude of former US President George W Bush. He has never put significant pressure on Israel to fulfill its commitments. On the other hand, for the Americans putting pressure on the Palestinians is politically easy. That imbalance transmits itself to the Quartet.

In the last few years, in various elegant rooms in some of the world's major cities, a small group of the Quartet people has met periodically to talk about the Middle East. The Quartet is not "making adequate progress towards improving the lives of Palestinians nor improving the prospects for peace". Tony Blair, Britain's former Prime Minister was in the early stages of his new part time job as the Quartet's representative in the Mideast, but he seemed to recognize that it was quite a step from where they were to the chilly realities of winter on the West Bank. The reality shows the USA-Israel terror states do not let the Quartet move an inch form the crisis zone. What is missing is sincerity and grave concern about the growth of Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories 18 separate times. Yet settlements, which are illegal under international law, are expanding faster than they were last year, and the aid agencies say, are "taking a drastic toll on Palestinian daily life". However, many argue that squeezing the Palestinians in the way that they have been squeezed is bad for peace.

Bush did the crudest harm to the peace momentum by declaring US support for Israeli atrocities in Palestine and ridiculing the Palestinians for seeking peace. The Quartet perhaps is good only at raising money for a variety of projects, mainly economic, and it has worked hard to improve the still incomplete “rule of law” on the West Bank, while totally ignoring Israeli lawlessness. It has not made peace happen though. However, the presence of the UN, the EU and Russia stops the business of Middle East peacemaking being simply a private department of US foreign policy, while Russia uses it as a bargain chip with USA and EU to advance its global interests.

The Islamic world and Muslims, highly influenced by anti-Islamic media and the hyped western ways of life, are unable to comprehend the strategy of US-Israel-India and allies. President Obama has to comprehend the velocity of Israeli atrocities in Palestine including the planned holocaust and delink US policy form that of Zionist fascism.

II – False Threat Perceptions

Both USA and Iran use Iran as a threat to their security even though USA has a SDI shield to protect the nation form any “enemy” attack. But the fact is Iran is under virtual threat from both USA and Israel on the issue of nuclear program which is a routine affair in many parts of the world, including USA and Israel. Now Iran has test-fired missiles that could reach the entire Israel. Fake alarms from Israel and USA have indeed threatened Tehran and are used by Iran to test more and more missiles. Israel, which is itself believed to possess atomic arsenal, has warned that it could attack Iran if it does not abandon its nuclear program, which Israel and the U.S. suspect is a cover for weapons production. Israel's prime minister-designate, Benjamin Netanyahu, is among those taking a tough line and considered likely to keep open the option of a military strike. Both Israel and USA have repeatedly warned of “military” action if Iran refuses to discard its nuclear program. But Iran has gone ahead with its schedules.

Israel wants every nation to recognize it and its holocaust in Palestine. Iran does not recognize Israel, and Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has repeatedly asked Israel to vacate the Arab lands to enable the Palestinians to set up a nation for themselves and also rejected a two-state solution to solve the decades-old conflict. Shiite Iran's efforts to tackle the issue have received skeptical response, aided by the West, from much of the Muslim world, especially from the neighboring Sunni-ruled Arab states which are also wary of Tehran's nuclear program. Tehran denies any aim to make nuclear weapons and says its atomic program is only for generating power and other peaceful purposes.  Iran’s nuclear program cannot be a threat others, if similar facilities are not a problem in the world. Israel has illegally obtained nukes. None in the west objects to them.

If threatened by enemies, Iran said it had a contingency plan for hitting back hard and causing many casualties. Iran's top military (evolutionary Guards Corps) commander Mohammad Ali Jafari also declared that the Islamic republic has long-range missiles that can reach Israeli nuclear sites. Iran's Shahab-3 missiles have a range of up to 1,250 miles, putting Israel within striking distance. Iran has said it has also increased the range of its warplanes, allowing them to fly as far as Israel and back without refueling. Iran has worked hard to increase the accuracy of its missiles. In Nov 2008, Tehran successfully test-fired the Sajjil, a solid fuel high-speed missile with a range 1,250 miles. Solid fuel is considered a significant breakthrough because it increases accuracy. Jafari said:  the Islamic republic has missiles with a range of more than 2,000 kilometres (1,250 miles) and... all the land of the Zionist regime, including its nuclear installations, is within our range.” Iran has drawn up a contingency plan to retaliate against any Israeli attack and "impose high casualties in a short period of time." Israel refrains from taking military action because it has estimated the damages it will sustain in a war against Iran.. A spokesperson said: "Having analyzed Iran's defense capabilities, they have reached the conclusion that military confrontation with Iran is tantamount to an endless quagmire." Jafari said Iran now has a mighty military force capable of deterring any U.S. or Israeli attack. Iran's military chief warned Israel that its nuclear facilities are within range of Iranian missiles, the latest message from Tehran that it will strike back if attacked. All nuclear facilities in various parts of the lands under occupation of the Zionist regime are within the range of Iran's missiles.

III – Rise of Iran

Recently, Iran convened a summit of Islamic nations known as Tehran Summit on 03 to discus the fallout of the Israeli holocaust. The summit, attended by officials from such neighbors as Kuwait and Bahrain, as well South Africa and Nigeria, comes two days after global donors meeting in Egypt pledged around 4.5 billion dollars to rebuild Gaza. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal called for a joint Arab strategy to deal with the "Iranian challenge" at a meeting of Arab foreign ministers. In his address at the Tehran summit, Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the creation of a "global anti-Zionist front." Muslim nations must seriously pursue punishing the Zionist criminals, so that by saving Palestine and the establishment of a popularly chosen government, the world gets rid of racism, lies and occupation forever." The Tehran conference suggested setting up a common fund of participating nations to channel the donations. But "unfortunately, the route for delivering the aid is not open," he said referring to the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged world Muslims on 03 March to join the Palestinian "resistance" against Israel. "The only way to save Palestine is resistance," Khamenei said in an address to a global summit organized by Tehran in aid of the war-battered Gaza Strip and the Palestinians. Support and help to Palestinians is a mandatory duty of all Muslims. “I now tell all Muslim brothers and sisters to join forces and break the immunity of the Zionist criminals”. He said the Islamic republic could "firmly retaliate" if it was attacked by Israel, which considers Iran its biggest threat to its nefarious designs in Arab world. Khamenei said any negotiations to solve the Israel-Palestinian conflict were fruitless, adding that the USA and Britain committed the "crime of creation and supporting this cancerous tumor (Israel).Even the new president of the United States who came to power with the motto of changing Bush administration's policies also now talks about unconditional commitment to secure Israel. This is defending terrorism by a government." President Obama is still weighing the fall out of the policy shift if he attempts one in Mideast, favoring the Palestinians, while the Pentagon-Neocons-CIA insist on continuing with Bush terror polices to pursue US energy goals.

Quickly enough, Khamenei's call was bluntly dismissed by PLO Abbas and Mrs. Clinton after the two met during her first visit to the region since taking office. We are sending a message to the Iranians and others -- stop interfering in our affairs," Abbas said. The leader of Fatah, which is now making efforts to forge ties with the elected Hamas, accused Iran of interfering only “to deepen the rift between Palestinians." Clinton too said Khamenei's remarks were "clear interference in the internal affairs of the Palestinian people, continuing efforts on the part of the Iranians to undermine the Palestinian Authority." By saying this both USA and Fatah considers Iran the worse enemy of Palestine cause than Israel. USA never questioned the Israeli interference in Palestine, let along killing and destructions there.

The recent Israeli holocaust unleashed by fascist Israel in Palestine killing thousands of innocent Palestinians, old, women and children inclusive, exposed the hollowness and divisions in the Islamic world, particularly in Arab world which just watched the show  in their own styles. In protest, Venezuela asked the Israeli missions to quit the nation. But the Arabs and non-Arabs did not do even that. Some of them have come out with cash for reconstruction of Gaza destroyed by illegal Israeli air-strikes.  However, Iran helps the Hamas in lessening their economic agonies. Musa Abu Marzuk and Abu Zahar from the Hamas movement attended the Tehran summit and acknowledged the role Iran played in tackling the Middle East problem. Zahar openly said Iran and other countries have been offering aid to Palestinians, which included "paying salaries of our employees since we came to power in 2006."

IV - Unity Talks

The desire on the part of Fatah and Hamas Palestinians to achieve reconciliation between their divided leaderships has grown more acute since Israel's three-week military offensive in Gaza, which ended on 18 January. Amid talks going on in Cairo between the Fatah and Hamas and ahead of power-sharing talks between two sides, split by the US-Israeli lobbyists, unelected Fatah Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, appointed by PLO chief president Mahmoud Abbas has submitted his resignation to President Mahmoud Abbas. Salam Fayyad, a former World Bank economist, was made Pm by Abbas after dismissing the Hamas government. Fayyad's resignation appears to be part of the careful choreography aimed at the creation of a new Palestinian government of national unity. Fayyad's resignation would pave the way for the formation of a national unity government, but he will not step down until that government is in place by the end of March. Delegations from Fatah and Hamas, as well as other Palestinian groups, have set up committees to look at forming a unity government and holding elections.

Hamas represents the Palestinian ideas and spirits as envisaged by the PLO founder Yasser Arafat and is the lifeline of masses. Instead of trying to understand and appreciate the history behind the Hamas popular movement, Western countries responded by sanctions, blockades, and a protracted and suffocating siege by Israel that came to a head with the bloodiest massacre of defenseless Palestinian civilians since 1948. Hamas movement has among many things given a large segment of Palestinian society a sense of self-respect and feeling of leverage with their occupiers; but to advocate that Hamas was souped up by some Israeli agents hell-bent on the demise of the Palestinians is simply hogwash.

Global media project Hamas as the terrorist organization to make Muslims hate the movement. Israeli and American secret agencies and their media have almost complete control over the global media and they use them to slam the Palestinians especially Hamas as terrorists” while the real terrorist are the Jewish fascists. Various Western governments are struggling to define a possible relationship with the Palestinian movement Hamas, some progressive and leftist circles are also uneasy regarding their own perception of the Islamic movement.

It is true that for years, Palestinians have suffered poverty, hunger and humiliation under the Israeli occupation. Gaza Strip is desperately poor, its population mostly composed of refugees and their descendants. Islamist leaders were themselves refugees and were mostly refugee camp dwellers.. There are reasons for that, not least because the PLO had its own complex regional and international priorities, and that it lacked the grassroots leverage enjoyed by the Islamic movement. US-Israeli combine divided PLO into Fatah and Hams and are keen to make them fight one another and destroy themselves eventually.

Israel’s curious attitude could be explained as part of its policy of reward and punishment.  Israel was wary of the augmentation of PLO institutions abroad and growing influence on Palestinian societies in the occupied territories. The 70's and the 80's were years of growing turmoil for Palestinians with the Camp David Accords, the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and the many massacres committed by Israel, killings that came to a pinnacle with the 1982 massacres of Sabra and Shatilla in Lebanon. Continuous torture by Israel and decades of laying groundwork would now be put to the test as the movement evolved to embrace armed struggle.

One of propaganda of the CIA- Mossad is that Hamas is the creation of Israel and Mossad controls Hamas. The mischief is done to make Hamas unpopular and hated organization so that USA-Israeli terrorists can finish them off. The fact remains that the Hamas in fact is not the work of the Israeli Mossad, although both Fatah and Hamas have agents infiltrated into their ranks spoiling the all peace efforts and making the toy rocket firing possible. Some have in fact made the claim that Hamas is, more or less, an Israeli concoction. This notion - that Hamas is the brainchild of Israel - is simply incorrect. In fact, the accusation that Hamas was created by Israeli intelligence has become so commonplace that it often requires no serious substantiation.

The evolution and growth of Hamas in Gaza in particular is historical and its presence was making a strong impact on Mideast politics as early as 1967. In the early years of the occupation, the Islamic movement in Gaza felt that this nation of mostly refugees was in a vulnerable state and would need years of preparation before they could actually become a force to be reckoned with. For this reason, they invested decades to strengthening social bonds in Gazan society, by building mosques, childcare centers, hospitals, schools and so forth. The years between 1967 and 1975 were designated by the Islamic movement as the phase of "mosque building". The mosque was the central institution that galvanized Islamic societies in Gaza. Between 1967 and 1987, the number of mosques in Gaza tripled, rising from 200 to 600 mosques and new phase of "social institution building" set in, which included the formation of Islamic clubs, charitable organizations, student societies,  education, social and cultural interaction, etc, which all served as meeting points for Muslim youth. In 1973, the Islamic Centre was established in Gaza, the actual body that served as the heart of all the movement's activities.

Notwithstanding the destructive policies of USA and Israel against Palestine and Hamas, "Hamas" finally made its official appearance in 1987, taking the transformation of the Islamic movement in Gaza one step further, with the birth of the first Palestinian Intifada. Palestinians adore Hamas as their saviors. Nearly two decades later, Hamas enjoyed a landslide victory in Palestinian elections, another testimony to its phased and calculated growth. But under pressure form USA, EU and Israel Fatah leader and PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas dismissed the elected government and quickly replaced the PM with his own person from World Bank, taking control of West Bank while Hamas remained in Gaza Strip the target of US-Israel-Fatah repressive methods, blockades and holocaust.

V- Post-Script

The Palestinians should strive for their collective destiny.  Obviously, Israel cannot go on prolonging the issue because they decide for the future of the Palestinians and because they control them and they have plenty of arms arsenals, including nukes and, more importantly, have also taken the support of the essentially US-led anti-Islamic nations for granted. Security is common to Israel and Palestine as well as the Arabs, not just for USA and Israel. Palestine’s security is also conversely of the Israel too. Enough of Palestinian blood has already flowed under the regional bridge and Israel must stop drinking their blood now and take positive measure to help the Palestinians establish the Palestine state at the earliest by accepting the Arab Peace plan.

President Barack Obama has an important role to play in Mideast to bring about a settled resolution of Palestine state formation and how he would use the diplomatic and economic resources at his command will greatly determine the success of Obama administration. And this writer has no reason to doubt his capability to put his seal on the Palestine state that could be established by his presidency. Arabs have also a collective role to play in the finale of the Mideast crisis, but Iran and Turkey could enormously contribute to keep the peace momentum to reach the positive notes.
