No advices/suggestions needed, compel India to solve outstanding issues with Pakistan

        It is our bad luck that our leaders have linked our destiny to Saudis in term of solving our internal issues or for defending us internationally. In seconding the voice of the Indian Prime Minister for doing more for the suppression of terrorist activities without asking them at the same time to solve the issue of Kashmir is beyond the comprehension of the common Pakistani. Saudis are increasing relations with such a Country which has long standing dispute with Pakistan. Although so far no such official response has come from the Pakistani leaders but it has been felt deeply by the common people in Pakistan. If the Saudis used their relation with India for the benefit of both Pakistani and Kashmiri people then it is a positive development otherwise it can be interpreted a major policy change which may bring adverse results in the long for Pakistani and Kashmiri people.

        Previously, Pakistan was lamenting good relation of America and India and now will taste the hazards of Indo-Saudi relations. We should examine the recent relation scrupulously. Although we have deep religious relations with Saudis but it does not means that we should blindly follow their every dictate. Saudis should note the Indian activities along our Western borders and inside Baluchistan. They should revise their policy of defence relations with India in the current circumstances because any act leading to strengthening of India in defence sphere is virulent to Pakistan.

        India is rendering Pakistan a desert by stopping water from the Kashmir side and also giving suggestions to Afghanistan for making a Dam on river Kabul. Pakistani diplomatic persons recently returned without any progress and in such atmosphere the visit of an Indian leader and targeting Pakistan and declaring Pakistan for all the terrorist activities is acting oil on fire.

        Indian Independence Act passed in 1947 is yet to be implemented in letter and spirited. Talking of war on water issue has already started in Pakistan because there is no alternative but to use brute force for the resolution. When the opposite partner shows no willingness to come to negotiating table then the point of view of extremists for using force against India becomes pleasant to the people who are directly victims of lack of negotiations.

Saudi Arabia urges unity among Pak leaders

“There is no relation between Saudi Arabia and Taliban. Our relationship was abrogated when Taliban gave sanctuary to Al Qaeda. Since then and till today we have no relations with Taliban. That will give you an indication of how seriously we look at the issue.”

RIYADH: Deeply concerned over activities of Al Qaeda and Taliban in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia has urged Pakistani leaders to unite to thwart the designs of the extremists.

“Pakistan is a friendly country. Anytime one sees a dangerous trend in a friendly country, one is not only sorry but worried,” Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al Faisal told Indian journalists after a meeting with visiting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

It was the duty of all political leaders in Pakistan to unite to ensure that extremists did not achieve their objectives, he said.

Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Talmiz Ahmed told reporters that Prime Minister Singh during his meetings with the Saudi leadership was expected to stress the need for Pakistan to dismantle the ‘terror infrastructure’ on its soil. He said a Saudi initiative to rehabilitate extremists by enlightening them about the non-violent principles of Islam would also be discussed.

He said there was deep concern both in India and Saudi Arabia about the sense of insecurity and instability across West Asia and parts of South Asia, from Palestine to Pakistan.
