Mohamed Mursi as President: New Egypt should not shield Zionist Crimes

Egypt's Islamist president-elect, Mohamed Mursi, wants to "reconsider" the peace deal with Israel and build ties with Iran to "create a strategic balance" in the Middle East.

In his first address to the nation, just hours after being declared Egypt's new president, Mohamed Morsi said that he would be the president of all Egyptians and called on his countrymen to back national unity. "I am the president of all Egyptians, without exception, be it inside or outside the country." Egypt’s President Morsi has also paid tribute to the martyrs of the uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak in February 2011. 

Morsi has announced the country’s commitment to all previous international treaties and obligations including the bogus peace agreements with Israel signed as the Camp David Accord in 1979.  "Egypt does not intend to interfere in the affairs of other states, but other countries shall, likewise, not be allowed to meddle in our decision-making. The Camp David peace deal between Egypt and Israel may have held their immoral maneuverings against Palestinians  for more than three decades, making the besieged people in  Palestine both subject and object of Israeli aggression and blockades by both Egypt and Israel. 

Morsi said the issue of Palestinian refugees returning to homes their families abandoned in the 1948 Arab-Israeli war and the 1967 Six-Day War "is very important". He added though that "all these issues will be carried out through cabinet and governmental bodies because I will not take any decision on my own."

The Islamic republic of Iran broke off diplomatic relations with Egypt in 1980; a year after Cairo signed the peace deal with the Jewish criminal state. Even when many Arab nations came forward to shake blood-stained hands of Israeli leaders, Tehran refused to recognize Israel as a human. Morsi said that part of his agenda is the development of ties between Iran and Egypt that will create a strategic balance in the region. Iran's foreign ministry on Sunday welcomed Morsi's triumph. Its message made no mention, however, of Iran and Egypt resuming diplomatic ties.

Iran's clerical leadership contends that the Arab Spring that toppled veteran Egyptian strongman Hosni Mubarak and other longtime US allies in the Arab world last year was inspired by its own 1979 Islamic revolution.

Although Iran's predominant faith is Shiite Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood adheres to the Sunni branch of Islam, Tehran has been reaching out to the organization in Egypt in recent months.

Iran's armed forces chief of staff, General Hassan Firouzabadi, on Monday was quoted by IRNA as echoing the Muslim Brotherhood's rejection of moves by Egypt's military to dissolve the Islamist-led parliament and to give itself a greater say over government policy and the constitution.

The actions of the military council in Egypt, which considered itself to be selected by Mubarak, lack legal validity and political legitimacy.

The new regime of Egypt has come to power against the old guard led by Mubarak, USA and Israel. But Israel, the illegally foisted in Mideast, and its fascist boss and terror guardian USA are keen to see the new regime in Cairo does not deviate from Mubarak path. 

Post revolution regime in Cairo must be for a new system and against old order and old deals.  Israel's Arab affairs experts have already begun their pro-Zionist gimmicks, saying that Morsi is not looking for war with Israel and he will let the military manage relations with Israel.

Any move by the new regime in Cairo to restart ties with illegal Israel would send wrong signals to the world as that would amount to shielding Zionist crimes since 1947 when it was imposed in Mideast  by imperialism powers,  against 

 Palestine, against humanity! Obviously, Mohamed Mursi would not  do that!

Obviously, there could be tremendous pressure on the president elect Mohamed Mursi and his party from USA and its terror allies to retain all illegal treaties signed by Mubarak and allies with the illegal Israeli regime.  But Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood should draft its policies in favor of Palestine, its unity and rule.

Israel is dead scared of the new Egyptian regime. Although Morsi resigned from Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood to take the top job, Israel is wary of his election, fearing his Islamist record could jeopardize the chilly peace it has long enjoyed with its huge neighbor.

The stated Egyptian goals are certain to alarm Israel and its ally the USA as they adapt to the new direction Egypt will chart with Morsi at the helm. They could also boost Iran's influence in the Middle East at a time of heightened tensions between Tehran and the West.

Every one only hopes Mursi would not run back to climb the tree as a funny vampire and hang from there.... 

Obviously now the focus is on Mohamed Mursi and his party. Will Mursi turn the cold peace with Israel into a hostile peace as a Jewish strategist predicts or makes his own policy decisions to strengthen the nation and its ties with Islamic world with special focus on establishment of Palestine state on Islamic principles?

New polices of Egypt would, therefore, be modeled on Islamic principles, discarding all old pro-Zionist practices of joint terror blockades to kill Palestinians and proliferate illegal colonies inside Palestine. 

Egypt should coordinate their Palestine  policy with that of Turkey.
