US-Russia great game: Return of Russians to destabilized Afghanistan?

- By DR. ABDUL RUFF

Fascist enemies of Islam from the west have invaded Islamic world, looting the resources and killing millions of Muslims.

Notwithstanding their outward confrontational gimmicks over issues like disarmament and Georgia, the big powers USA and Russia have always fostered and nurtured close collaborative approach to keep other at bay. Russians have always assisted the NATO terror infrastructural syndicates, occupying Afghanistan and Pakistan. Americans re-payed Russians with a sumptuous WTO membership for their secret and open terror help.

After all, these two veto rogue states sill control the UNSC and world at large.

Is Russia going back to Afghanistan? Kremlin confirms it could happen sooner than later. Russia considers returning to Afghanistan. Russia says that the maintenance of weapons and military hardware in Afghanistan remains a top priority, as any instability in the country would affect Russia’s own security, as well as the security of other European nations.

Russia's announcement that it might be setting up repair facilities in Afghanistan for the maintenance of the Afghanistan military's equipment may seem like a pretty mundane bit of news, except for the irresistible symbolism. The head of the Defense Ministry’s department of international cooperation, Sergey Koshelev said that Russia “will look into various options of creating repair bases on Afghan territory”.

Moscow is also not ruling out more substantive and open cooperation with NATO in Afghanistan. Koshelev added that the maintenance of weapons and military hardware in Afghanistan remains a top priority, as any instability in the country would affect Russia’s own security, as well as the security of other European nations.

Russian iron man V. Putin will enlarge the transport corridor to Afghanistan, so that Afghan forces could continue to receive supplies from NATO after coalition troops leave Afghanistan in 2014.

Like Obama and NATO rouges, Putin also sees stabilization in Afghanistan as a main priority. In any case the Russia-NATO cooperation is a positive moment. The coalition was breaking there for 13 years. Americans remember very well the situation our troops found themselves in at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. This is why the stabilization in Afghanistan is very important for Russia.

Might the humble repair centers presage a more boots-on-the-ground approach for Russia in Afghanistan? One Russian expert interviewed by the Monitor thinks so: "Look at Iraq. The US lost interest in it, and nobody cares if it's becoming engulfed in civil war," says Vadim Kozyulin, a researcher with the PIR Center, a leading Moscow security think tank. "The same process may happen in Afghanistan, and could develop much more quickly.

One of the policy parameters and chief aims of North Atlantic block of imperialist nations led by USA and EU governments in the post-Col war era has been to prevent Russia from expanding its military influence globally, especially in the energy rich and religiously critical Mideast.

This containment policy of the west towards Moscow was in response to the Kremlin’s attempt to outsmart USA in influencing and if possible controlling all regions.

Soviet Russia and America, veto members of the notorious UNSC, fought for bases and military influences over the world and as a result the Kremlin occupied Islamic Afghanistan by using pro-Soviet puppet regime in Kabul, killing Afghans and looting toxic resources. USA and Europe condemned and undertook plans to remove Russian occupation of Afghan lands.

Post cold war US- Russia equation brought USA into Afghanistan by engineering and successfully enacting through Sept-11 hoax, killing millions of Afghans, looting their resources. .

Russia is helping USA, Europe and China, among others, to share the energy resources of Central Asia even after the Muslim nations in the region are now independent nations. Foreign competition to loot the Central Asian resources have lent the rulers corrupt.

Corrupt leaders cannot rule but only ruin the nations.

Thus, USA and Russia having military links do cooperate and coordinate their foreign operations.

History repeats itself. Putin resumes the military presence of Russia in Afghanistan! Russian Defense Ministry and NATO discuss new Russian bases in Afghanistan! Putin camouflages the Russian bases inAfghanistan as repair bases! Putin hoodwinks that the maintenance of weapons and military hardware in Afghanistan remains a top priority, as any instability in the country would affect Russia’s own security, as well as the security of other European nations.

The complete withdrawal of NATO International Security Assista nce Force from Afghanistan is scheduled for 2015. Afghan authorities are already providing security across three-quarters of the country’s territory.

US president Obama says the withdrawal of military forces does not mean that the US is leaving Afghanistan completely, and promised aid and training to the country’s government and military forces.

The complete withdrawal of International Security Assistance Force from Afghanistan is scheduled for 2015. Then-US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said in a recent statement that Afghan authorities are already providing security across three-quarters of the country’s territory. Panetta added, however, that the withdrawal of military forces did not mean that the US was leaving Afghanistan completely, and promised aid and training to the country’s government and military forces.

Over the past several years, the Pentagon has been buying Russian weapons, including helicopters for Afghan military forces, despite criticism from some US politicians. Russia has also agreed to open a NATO logistics base on its territory to simplify cargo deliveries from Western Europe.

Russian officials have repeatedly denied that Moscow is considering resuming its military presence in Afghanistan.

Russian NATO envoy Aleksandr Grushko also said that Moscow is not excluding the possibility of broader cooperation with the military bloc. In particular, Russia could offer to enlarge the transport corridor to Afghanistan, so that the country’s own forces could continue to receive supplies from Western allies after coalition troops leave Afghanistan in 2014. A top Russian MP for defense Sergey Zhigarevsaid in press comments that Moscow saw stabilization in Afghanistan as a main priority: “In any case this [Russia-NATO cooperation] is a positive moment. The coalition was breaking there for 13 years. We remember very well the situation our troops found themselves in at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. This is why the stabilization in Afghanistan is very important for us,

Notes

Besides being a strategic location on the Silk Route, Afghanistan is a major poppy land that produces ninety percent of all the opium consumed worldwide, and kleptocrats profit from its trade. Nevertheless, not a single kleptocrat has yet to be convicted. Overzealous police chiefs are replaced before they can track down smugglers. Kabul Airport is like a heavily protected mosque at the main entrance, but there are three open doors out back.

Over the past several years, the Pentagon has been buying Russian weapons, including helicopters for Afghan military forces, despite criticism from some US politicians. Russia has also agreed to open a NATO logistics base on Russian territory to simplify cargo deliveries from Western Europe.

The Russians have an interest in Afghanistan similar to American but more important to them. Pakistan as well. Also the Chinese.

Moscow says any instability in Afghanistan would affect Russia’s own security, as well as the security of other European nations.

By selling terror goods to Washington Russia already cooperates pretty substantially with the USA and NATO on Afghanistan, primarily by allowing the coalition forces to use its territory to ship equipment in and out of Afghanistan and setting up a logistics center for Afghanistan cargo. At the same time, it's trying to thwart the U.S.'s military presence in Central Asia, even though that presence is devoted solely to the very same operations in Afghanistan.

The fight against the narcostate isn't part of the UN mandate, and embassies and military bases are not law-enforcement agencies. There is no lack of knowledge about what is going on, but who wants to get back into it with re-strengthened warlords? Almost all of these criminals have ultimately gotten what they wanted. Afghanistan will become a narcostate after Occidental troops withdraw. Occidental diplomats just shrug.

Given all this, what is left of the Kremlin mission in Afghanistan?

Russia also seeks revenge in alien lands. So, Russia and its allies like India want NATO to stay on permanently in Afghanistan, killing all Afghans. The US effort in Afghanistan is about to end. It's time for Russia to quickly design a new effort with a share of responsibility of Americans. Americans are already playing the role of political and military leader in central Asia to control its vast resources.. Even though Putin previously said they won't send Russian specialists to Afghanistan, the Russian military now says Russia might create enterprises on Afghan territory to service military equipment. "The situation is changing" is about the only thing they can say with certainty regarding the future of Afghanistan.

Has America completed its "successful mission" in Afghanistan and is Russia going to complete that mission?

So will Russia have a stronger presence there after the USA and NATO start leaving? Sounds like the Kremlin is seriously thinking about it. Moscow is eager to punish the the remaining Afghan for kicking the red army out of Kabul.

Both curious India seeking to use Afghanistan to attack Pakistan and an already suffered Pakistan are pushing the US lobbyists to ensure their share in destabilized Afghanistan after the big rogues leave.
