Ahmadinejad Resumes as President

- Dr. Abdul Ruff Colachal

Over-riding all opposition coup attempts and other "reform-cum-agitation" tactics, promptly promoted by the western powers plus media trying to appease the Zionist regime in Tel-Aviv and make NATO control the Mideast energy resources for sharing among strategic partners- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has resumed on 05 August as Iran's powerful president to pursue Iran's legitimate goals both at home and abroad.

Ahmadinejad was formally endorsed as president on Aug 03 by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has solidly backed him throughout the unrest. Khamenei said Ahmadinejad was the rightful winner and that Iranians had "voted in favour of a fight against arrogance, to confront destitution and spread justice". Ahmadinejad now has two weeks to form a government that must then be approved by parliament. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has demanded an end to protests, formally endorsed him for second term as winner of the 12 June vote.   Ahmadinejad was formally endorsed as president on Aug 03 by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has solidly backed him throughout the unrest. Having disastrously got exposed in their failure in removing him from power on a stage managed opposing coup, Germany, France, Britain and the US all said they would not be sending letters of congratulation to Ahmadinejad who has refused to mortgage his nation to the western terror powers. Also, Ahmadinejad's predecessors as president - Mohammad Khatami, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and the defeated opposition candidates, Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi who are collectively responsible for the failed coup and anti-Ahmadinejad protest scenes where at least 30 people were killed, - did not attend the event.

The West inspired key opposition leader and chief election challenger Mir Hossein Mousavi, who is keen to oust anti-American Ahamadinejad from power with western support, accused the authorities of using torture to extract confessions.. About 100 reformists and activists were put on trial in Tehran for 'eformist" gimmicks that essentially mean defame Islam and belittle Shari'a. Both Mousavi and his co-conspirator former President Mohammad Khatami denounced the hearings which continued on 02 July Sunday. The charges include conspiracy, rioting and vandalism. The televised confessions have been broadcast in which a former vice-president, among others, thanked the interrogator for showing him the error of his ways and indirectly hint at the forces behind them. However, the western media fuel the crisis and try to use the trials to fire up the anger of opposition supporters.

Incited by the western mafia and media, many in Iran took shelter behind the anti-Islamic nations and their hawkish media to slam the Islamic state. The aftermath of the election has exposed deep schisms within Iran's clerical and political elite, with Ahmadinejad coming under fire from many conservatives as well as reformists. The "reformers" who question the trials in Iran should also ask the USA/UK and the rest of the West and their terror allies about secret terror camps to torture Muslims as suspected terrorists. The teeth of the torturers and confession-extorters have reached to the bones of the people. The torturers and interrogators have gone to such lengths that their victims are among those who gave great services to the west. No one was allowed to witness the tortures without trials. Even trials are the scenes of inhuman tortures.

Iranian authorities have tightened pressure on their opponents by staging what former president Mohammad Khatami condemned as a "show trial" of 100 reformists accused of trying to instigate a "velvet revolution." Meanwhile the Pentagon-CIA have intensified their nefarious efforts to instill another potential source of friction with the USA and create chaos in Iran by sending on July 02 some trained US terror troops sneaking into Iran from Iraq which the US/NATO state terrorists occupy now. This is done to escalate tensions with Iran. Iran arrested three American cross border terrorists who an Iraqi official said had "strayed across" the border. The political uncertainty has posed fresh challenges for Western powers which had hoped to engage the Islamic Republic in substantive talks on its nuclear program, which they suspect has military purposes, not only civilian ones as Iran insists.

Democracy demands the loser accepts people's power and mandate. All defeated candidates in fact had expected a rerun to "pool" their resources to defeat Ahmadinejad but Iranians determinedly reelected him in the  first vote itself with huge margins in which Ahmadinejad was declared to have won 63 percent of 40 million votes cast, against 34 percent for his nearest rival Mousavi whom the western media boosted  as the "winner". This infuriated the opposition that wanted to make the NATO terror forces come in to assist their anti-Islamic "reform" programs. However, they refused to give up coup attempts. Mousavi and Khatami were the main culprits behind the unrest reducing the Iranian population by some 20 extra.

These "reformists" play into the dirty hands of anti-Islamic nations in favor of a few coins to destabilize the current Islamic system of government to imbibe a corrupt and criminal system of regime. They joke that such show trials will directly harm the system and further damage public trust.  Earlier Fars news agency reported that a group of Iranian MPs had filed a complaint against Mousavi several weeks ago, calling for him to be put on trial for "directing recent riots".

The real challenge for Ahmadinejad after his swearing-in would be to assemble a credible team of ministers - to be endorsed by parliament - to support the cause of truly Islamic Iran. The Ahmadinejad government has to - possibly through peaceful means- drive out all anti-Islamic vestiges accumulated thus far, under guises of reforms, in fact to support the western "reforms' essentially for  revising the Holy Quaran.

Fascist Israel is taking undue advantage of tensions between USA and Iran, while global media managed by CIA-Mossad are deliberately spreading the rumors about a possible Israeli terror attack on Iran. This western mischief should be removed right now.

Presidents of Iran and USA should accommodate each others' genuine demands for peace; while Iran's nuclearism efforts are logical development of scientific discovery that has already crossed much ahead in the west, and East, USA should strive for global denuclearization efforts before forcing Iran to destroy its nuclearism outcomes; Obama can be best assured that once world becomes denuclearized, Iran would also be a non-nukes state and not to stand in the way. USA must restrain fascist Israel that already has nukes threatening the existence of Arab nations and destroying Palestine. Both USA and Iran should avoid arrogant postures that give their military establishment (Pentagon) strength to spoil any meaningful dialogue. World Peace a collective effort.
