As per international ranking which I just checked at net South African captain A.B. De Villiers is ranked at number 2 be it Test or ODI and this what he has proved in quite crystal clear terms without any shadow of doubt. It will be quite futile to quote as to how much he scored in the current Test & ODI series against us but the fact remains that he has played captain innings in both formats.
