A news ticker on a TV channel read, “Altaf Hussain has allowed use of Jinnah Ground to PIT for its public meeting”. May I ask, in what capacity has he done so? A threat from Tehreek-e-Taliban with a 48 hour deadline is received by the authorities that if any of the Taliban prisoners is hanged they would retaliate forcefully by killing everyone in public places and bomb the schools. It is awfully shocking news that HRH Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, King, Saudi Arabia and Custodian of Two Holy Mosques aged 90 died on very early hours (0100) of Friday 23rd January, 2015 in Riyadh and he has been buried there same day after offering weekly Friday prayers. Some of our politicians have suggested award of Nishan e Haider to the Shuhada of the APS Peshawar.
