My dear Pakistanies
Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I would like to bring your attention on the current issues Pakistan is facing, and what we need to do in this tense and serious situation, I as a Proud Pakistani appeal all my pakistani brothers to support our Armed Forces completely, As General Prevaiz Musharraf is going through a tough time. These are the forces that have protected the borders of our country for more than 60 years, because of them we are living in a free country.
What ever happened in Red Mosque was bad, it was a mistake of Red Mosque organisation that they chose to fight our very own Islamic Armed Forces, and it was mistake of our Army that they lost patience bit early, they should have done more to resolve the issue peacefully. Anyway what ever has been done can not be undo.
Islam is a religion of peace, and our Prophet (P.B.U.H) didn't spread islam on the force of Sword (Talwaar). he spread islam with peace, faced hardships and difficulties but didn't harm others. and we should follow the preaching of our lovely Nabi in implementing islam. Extremism is not gonna do any good to us.
I ask my pakistani brothers:
Do u want pakistan to become another Iraq or Afganistan???
The real Jihad is to educate ourselves, improve our life, build this nation, make pakistan a first world country, and after making Pakistan a powerfull country, then we can say to the world that yes this is pakistan and this is Islam. who wants to come and stand in our way.
The example of pakistan is like a patient lying in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) alive with artificial respiratory system provided by IMF or World Banks loans, in this condition we do not have the capibility of standing firm against any super power of the world. and if we do (like the extremist muslim students of my country think) our country is going to become another example of destruction. No one cares about Pakistan except us, we have to stand and have faith in our current leaders. As whatever General Musharraf is doing is only the best for my nations future and strength. Believe me you, we do not have a choice.
Do not take me wrong, I am not saying that jihad is wrong or we should not stand in front of Western forces. but what I am saying is that we have to draw a line between what is right or wrong.
When Iman e Kaaba is saying that the youth of muslim nations should not join these jihadi forces then atleast we should listen to him, as he is the most senior respected personality of islam Alive.
Please open your eyes and see the reality, islam does not teach us to do (suicide bombings) to kill our own muslim brothers, islam does not teach us to kill innocent civilian people. What kind of islam is our religious people following???
Non muslims of the world are pointing fingers on us, they are saying is this your islam which teaches you to kill your own muslim brothers???
What image of islam are we creating by doing such acts. Please be united and lets get close to each other and lets try to build a strong nation. and the only way to do that is to follow the real teachings of our lovely Nabi. O people of Pakistan, our country is on the verge of Destruction...
This is a time for all of us to think what are we doing, I beg to all of those people who are extremely religious, please guide our youth, they are heading towards a way that has nothing to do with islam..
May Allah gives us strength of understanding and Amal.
