Go kai aaj Pakistan hassil kiya huai 60 years hi ho`a hain but the Pakistan Movement "˜The Tehriq e Azadi' began exactly 150 years ago in 1857. Above everything it was important for us to celebrate this year 2007 the achievements of this unprecedented struggle that carried on for 90 years with 2 world wars in between without breaking its momentum and spirit until the objective "˜A free and independent Muslim Nation' was achieved.
We do celebrate the Object "˜Pakistan' every year on 14th August but we have set aside the spirit that led to such an achievement! It is not a literal amnesia of the spirit of 1857 but it is sadly a very categorical and cataclysmic elimination of the essence that was so divine and so powerful in its execution and achievement that the object Pakistan without it now seems like a body without its "˜Soul'.
We have indeed become a nation of rituals than the actual spirit! A nation with ambitions but without a direction! A nation with people without a leader and a nation with possibilities but without the conviction!
The Junoon aur ishq of 1857 was the real wealth that should have resided and accumulated into the nation building but once the Junoonies landed on the darthi from falak they became ordinary mortals and resorted to nation looting.
It is not just that we have forgotten to celebrate and recall the spirit of 1857 but we have discarded in these 60 years all values and ethics that help in generating such a spirit again and again.

Pakistan today is the world's number one sectarian state where not only many Islamic factions prevail but ethnic differences have become permanent divisions. A Sindhi will vote for Sindhi a Rai for Rai and a Muhajr for muhajr.
Shouldn't we have formed a Tanzeem under the banner of Pakistan or Islam what will bind us and organize us if we yet need another 1857?

Today the Jism Pakistan has the Atomic Nuclear potential in atoms but in 1857 the Nuclear potential was the people itself and their leaders who were the Nuclear war heads that led the atoms. Today our leader's visions are focused on the fountains in the sea without the nations potential for basic electricity!
Today we rely on Imam zamins/amulets for protection than the actual source Allah!
Today we are focused on power rather than glory!
Today we are making flyovers over open swage!
Today the biggest looters of National wealth are excused but the judiciary is locked up.
Today only the right to vote is sanctioned but all civil liberties are ceased.

Today we are a nation not only without any national spirit but also without the spirit of assertion of "˜Oneness'. We are a nation devoid of all critical thinking and this is the major cause of our stagnation. We have become a nation of Xerox more of the same no innovation and no khayal, ahsas, fikr, thought, vision or ideal. We have arrived at no possible Nezaam/system. The only constitution that we were able to make in 60 years has been tempered and tossed aside by multiple dictators who can't agree with anyone but themselves who can't promote anyone but themselves.
