Objectionable images and acts.

I saw these images not only of the Governor Punjab but also his family members on your site. I had already prepared my mind to write on these offences of the Governor Punjab but now you have invited all those persons of conscience of this Country to help you. It is pertinent to mention before my views on these issues, I want to mention the views of my eight years son named Ziaullah who is a 2nd Class student. He said that these people increased the prices of flour, cooking oils on the poor and themselves are doing these acts.

Drinking of wine, alcohol etc. are not only forbidden in Islam but also in the laws of Pakistan. These images, according of the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860, are documents and are admissible in the Court of law for convicting a person guilty of the offence. FIA, being an investigation agency has many more matters to do for the interests of the Country. Their job is not to protect the accused persons but to bring to the Court for trial. It is also responsibility of the Punjab High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu action on these images in the public interests. It is also the responsibility of the Chief Minister Punjab to take action on these images being the Head of Government in Punjab. It is also the responsibility of Mr. Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, being the Head of the Muslim League of his faction. He should take firm action on it because he is currently working for the supremacy of the rule of law. It is the responsibility of the Lawyers of this Country to put the case in the Court against him as he has committed the offence and has violated the law of this land. It is very strange that the when the same offence is committed by a person of no authority, he is arrested for the trial in the Court of law by the law enforcing agencies of the Country but when this committed by the Head of Province he is protected! Law should be for all or it should be for none. It is the tragedy of this Country that here always helpless are persecuted.

Where are Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Qazi Hussain Ahmad and countless Ulema of this Country who are vocal on every matters but not on this. Why? The silence of Ulema is the clear proof that they do not want Islam but Islamabad to rule the people. When they cannot raise slogan against this heinous offence of the high profile person and his family members. What kind of message they wanted to convey to the people of Pakistan through such acts? It is also the tragedy of this Country that if you are my party member then you are allowed every act, if you belong to another party then you are an offender! It is not bravery that the weak persons of this Country be brought to the Court, bravery is that the most influential of this Country be brought to the Court if they commit any offence openly. State force should be used to protect the innocent, not to protect the offenders.

Almighty Allah destroyed the previous nations because they punished the weak, powerless and poor but spared, protected the powerful and influential. Noman Zafar can be compelled to remove the images from his website, can be compelled to show the source which provided the images but no power can dare to remove the record of the Governor Punjab and his family from the record of the Allah. At present, the people show the weak stage of their faith that what the Governor Punjab did is not right or Islamic. Almighty is Supreme. He will give us reward for the weak exhibition of faith. I do not want to incur the wrath of Allah by not denouncing the shameful acts of the Governor Punjab in the public and at the same time want the people to say crime to a crime if of religion or of Pakistan. Our ancestors had not liberated this Country for such like people and to commit such like crimes. Neither Allama Iqbal is respected nor Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Neither their saying are respected nor their deeds are imitated. Neither the Law of Allah is respected nor of Pakistan. Sometimes, it seems to me that they have created these law enforcing agencies just for their own protection because under the law of Pakistan no is allowed to have private army. In this way they get two benefits on single act. The agencies are paid from the taxes of the people while serve only their purposes. On this point all the political parties have agreement that is why they have adopted silence. My only request to the people of Pakistan is that they should recognise their own interests and should not be prey to hidden motives of any political party. They should simply vote in the election and then adopt complete silence but should not shut their eyes on the acts of their leaders.

Heavy responsibility rest on Mr. Nawaz Sharif, who is also the resident of Punjab and has Government in the Province. The other people can simply become moral supporters. He should use the force of his charter of Democracy which he signed in London with PPP. He fully support the PPP Government in the Centre and has formed coalition Government in Punjab. It is the insensitivity of the top people of this Country that the people are being roasted in the bomb blasts while they are busy in merry-making with whores.

What will happen if America attacked Pakistan and the Pakistan Army got busy with American forces? Whether the people will respond the calls of such leaders in case of war with other Country. I need the answers of these questions from all.

Cyber Crime Ordinance Promulgated by the President

January 9th, 2008 Sana · No Comments

Source: Teeth Maestro

UPDATE: Some helpful reporters of Dawn News are on the prowl to get full confirmation from the government about this story, the only news report that has appeared is in the Express newspaper today

In a shocking and sudden development yesterday and caught our attention today when it appeared in the newspaper today that the The President of Pakistan has just promulgated the Cyber Crime Bill. I dare to say but this is just a method to crack down on the voice of free expression on the internet akin to the PEMRA ordinance that strangulated the electronic media after Nov 3rd.

I don't have the exact document but our last understanding of the issue - which was the "˜final draft' this bill can be considered very dangerous for regular citizens. The bill forms a Tribunal which is in effect judge jury and executioner all encompassing, it allows the FIA full authority to confiscate and arrest anyone who is deemed by the government to be in violation of the "˜integrity of Pakistan' labeled as a person having terroristic intent - this is a new word created by the Govt of Pakistan for the English Language ;). There maybe some good aspects to the law but when an agency or tribunal supersedes the Justice system one would tend to worry of its widespread potential to misuse.

As per the final draft - an officer can walk into my house confiscate my computer and arrest me, he/she does not have to explain why and neither give reason for the arrest. I shall remain in custody as long as it takes for the tribunal to take collect evidence. And if found guilty by the Tribunal I am punishable from 3-10 years &/or Rs. 5,00,000.

A rough idea about the bill, as the one that was on FINAL DRAFT before all the emergency in Pakistan was, the FIA under orders from a Cyber Crime Tribunal court could accuse anyone of engaging in Terroristic activities and confiscate their computer without reason or explanation, and condemn the person to 3-10 years in prison, and the bill allowed the tribunal to keep the person under question without charge until it prepared the evidence. The onus of proof does not necessary have to come before the arrest. To understand the cyber Crime Bill one could follow the presentation by Zahid Jamil which he made a few months back.

DISCLAIMER: This is my own understanding as per the FINAL DRAFT that was up for approval - though our team of lawyers met the Ministry of IT and voiced their opinions, I am told that they were only heard and we don't know if it was accepted into the bill. we await a copy and if someone has it please forward along.

AOA
Dear All

I got these pics through some group emailings and then i posted them on site

But now i have received email via webmaster from FIA  that FIA is investigating these pics issue and want them to be remove the pics from the site .

So can some one put light on this matter?
Can any state agency force any website/journal to remove/withdraw any article which is not fake and is exposing some truth.
as a news paper, if we have some authentic original news/pics, then as per law i think we should be allowed to publish them, aren't we?
If we are not allowed to publish the news/pics then what this all journalism and briniging facts/scandals to surface is all about.

this is very serious issue for me and i need some valuable knowledge for this issue.
Any help suggestion will be highly regarded.

Farhan : And who will decide what is private and what is public.

I didnt get into his home, someone made these pics public and when the persons who are committing or doing these things are not afriad of doing these things in public then why should i/we.

Regards
Allah hafiz
