Allama Mashriqi, a world-renowned mathematician, Islamic scholar, and founder of the Khaksar Movement (Khaksar Tehrik) died at Mayo Hospital in Lahore (Pakistan) on August 27, 1963. He was buried in Ichhra (located on Ferozpur Road between Gulberg and Mozzang), from where he launched his Khaksar Movement 82 years ago. It was Sunday 17th instant (17th Ramazan in Kuwait) when I, my wife & daughter were invited as before also by 5 star hotel named Crowne Plaza for iftar and dinner buffet in Al Ahmadi restaurant which is one of many restaurants. It was full to capacity and upon my question I was told that 250 seats were laid up in Al Ahmadi for the evening and at least I did not see any seat vacant.
