Particularly the part where he follows the story of a white American woman who had lost her brother in the 9/11 attack in New York, is put together brilliantly.

After the US forces attacked Afghanistan and devastated the country, the American woman finds out about an Afghan woman whose house was hit by a 500 pound bomb in a US bombing campaign. She lost her husband, two children and six other members of her family. Her house was not being lived in by the Taliban. The Afghan woman has become absolutely destitute. She approached the US embassy in Kabul seeking compensation. She has been rebuffed from the emabssy being labelled as a beggar.

The American woman goes to Afghanistan finds that Afghan woman and meets with her.
