BETRAYERS OF KASHMIRI CAUSE!
Not only India has annexed Kashmir quite tactfully, militarized the valley upgraded with regular enforcements, enslaved the Kashmiris, killed them in thousands and thousands, but more crudely branded them “terrorists, driven them away form their homes by brutality and persecution and forced them to go far away places from Kashmir to earn and support their families. Even there, these Kashmiris are being ill-treated, arrested on false charges and tortured in jails. One does not know if many of the secret grave-yards belong to those killed in Indian jails and else where by Indian terrorist forces, apart from those murdered in faked encounters. New Delhi has thus successfully crippled the economy of Kashmir and India mocks at the Kashmiris by announcing false economic packages to uplift Kashmir area and people.
Yet, these patriots and ordinary Kashmiris are called the “terrorists. Journalists in India who supply opinions for money feed the Indians with contaminated filth about Kashmiris, describing them as unwanted, bad guys, “terrorists who are supposedly causing problems for Indian establishment to retain Kashmir endlessly. They terrify the people with their reporting and views. It is an alarming fact that Kashmir hardly has any 100% pro-Kashmiri and pro-freedom newspapers. This media attitude hampers the independence movement of Kashmiri independence. Media betrayal is compounded by the hypocrisy of the pro-India Kashmiris.
The great cause of freedom for Kashmiris and regaining sovereignty back from India is being sabotaged by a few selfish leaders who live quite comfortably in Kashmir while freedom fighters are butchered and tortured by Indian forces and its puppet government in Sri Nagar. These shameless Kashmiris make good fortune by being agents of the Indian regime and seek to be in the “good books of Indian establishment and the military regime in Kashmir.
Illegality, national and private
India, nation that was considered a leader in Non-Alignment movement has not only aligned with major powers to advance its global ambitions, but also, shamelessly, annexed its neighbor, Kashmir, split it divided the Kashmiris, militarized the valley to make a super military cantonment to undertake operations on Kashmiris o make them surrender and fall silent forgetting about the numberless genocides on their kith and kin.
A county that has illegally occupied alien Kashmir cannot boast itself of a democracy, let alone the largest one, because it has a very large Hindu population. Judiciary, in such country, also has also fallen a silent victim to Indian machinations and offers it a helping hand in its illegal dealings.
When one of the richest, "proud" Indians, Mukesh Ambani has spent a whopping $2 billion on his new palace it has added to the prestige of “Indianness, but the fact aremains that the palace is being illegally built on Muslms' land, the Waqf property in Mumbai. The official in the Waqf who has filed a case has since been transferred. That is the magic of connection between the Ambani who loots public with its mobiles alone and the government at centre and Maharashtra, rather all state governments.
Chemistry of Governemnt-bureaucrats-business magnets combine is not known overtly. After all, India is practically being run by these richest Ambanis with the help of cabinets to advance their own interests at hoe and abroad. A good bulk of legislators and parliamentarian get elected with the help of their money and muscle. Since a country illegally occupies its neighbor, a rich citizen, that too the richest guy, also think it his right to swindle wealth and property of any one in the country. He knows judiciary can also be silence, if not bought.
India considers Kashmir suited for divisive politics and any thing could be done to peole there and nothing would happend to the culprits from India. When the main pillars of so-called democracy or state are kept so weak, Indian establishment pushes forward its hidden agenda effectively in Kashsmir.
Election Profits
Pro-India Kashmiri politicians make use of their people for political purposes and keep them as vote-bank investors. These dangerous people are now seen busy gearing up for the elections. This is an opportunity for Kashmir leaders to make maximum benefits out of the emerging situation. India would pour in a lot of stolen money to appease the Kashmiris to get votes so that it could retain sovereignty for ever and claim victory over Pakistan as well.
Elections in Jammu Kashmir are fast approaching and the politicians are becoming alive to secure votes to show that Kashmiris are a part of great India. Kashmiris have been waging a just struggle to get back freedom as quickly as possible from arrogant India, which uses all possible methods, ploys and tactics, including state terrorism, to silence the Kashmiri voice for sovereignty. India does not talk about returning sovereignty to Kashmiris for self determination. Thousands and thousands of Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives for their own Kashmir as nation. Not only divisions among the Kashmiris, but even betrayals of some of them have cause serious problems to the freedom fighters and many of them have been killed by the tacit support from this section of Kashmiris for India. Yet the freedom struggle continues.
Freedom Fighting Patriots
One of the leading freedom fighters and Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani has claimed that mainstream political workers are working as informers for police and security agencies. While reacting to the recent arrests of Hurriyat activists at Sumbal, Sonawari and the encounter at Baramulla, Geelani said "The 1 and a half percent population of Kashmir are working against the national interests. They work for different mainstream political parties and project their agenda". He claimed that the workers of the mainstream parties are the informers and help the security agencies in identifying the militants. Continuing his tirade, Geelani asserted "These miscreants are present in all the mainstream parties and they usually shift from one platform to other" Geelani.
The octogenarian leader spearheading Kashmir freedom for decades pointed out that the workers of PDP, NC and Congress backstab the fellow-Kashmiris by informing police and army about the people, who participate in rallies of separatist leaders and facilitate their arrests and torture. But police arrests people, who peacefully participate in our programs, rallies and resort to sloganeering only. Geelani as true patriot has asked the workers of mainstream parties to mend their ways. "These people are destroying their hereafter and also damaging our national cause. They should repent and seek forgiveness from people". He said that the people should socially boycott the mainstream political workers.
India has cleverly used Kashmiris against their own legitimate interests of freedom and independence. Kashmiri freedom fighters have been badly split by colonial Indian power and they are being misused for its own agenda. Stating that leaders have always "betrayed" people of Kashmir, a prominent Shia leader Aga Syed Mahmoud Al-Mousvi on 02 May said that Kashmir faces leadership crisis. "People of Kashmir have always been let down by their leaders and there is no one among the mainstream or separatists who can claim to be a true leader of Kashmiris.
Compassionate leadership is missing here. It is because of this lacuna that Kashmiris are suffering," "Delivering sermons in Masjids on Fridays is no leadership," Mousvi said, "I am not here for the purpose of making electoral promises and gathering voters. But I want people to ponder and so called leaders to think that are they real representatives of Kashmiris. My open question to them is how many times they will deceive this nation". He, however, warns against both India and Pakistan, saying that Kashmiris have been "slaughtered" by both India and Pakistan and they continue to live under constant threat. Kashmiris should elect their "genuine representatives." Later Mousvi told reporters that he has not taken any decision about joining any political party. Earlier National Conference ditched me and I don't want same thing to happen again, I need to think twice before taking any decision. However, he has not given any proper guidance for Kashmiris.
Police Arrogance
Indian strategists make big claims about its being the largest democracy of the universe, whereas the reality is to the contrary. Kashmiris are being killed and tortured in Kashmir and elsewhere. Brutality is the hall mark of Indian democracy and secularism. Like any other Indian state, Kashmir government uses police to settle scores with the opposition, but with freedom fighters the situation is explosive; these patriots are treated the way the police think fit because the regime national and state want that way. "Police is power with arrogance," Geelani asserted. He accused the police of working at the behest of mainstream politicians. "Police and security agencies terrorize common citizens and desecrate their civil rights and liberties. In a democracy it is not acceptable" Going down the memory lane, Geelani said, "The anti-national elements have been trying to sabotage the freedom movement right from 1947. They are doing it even today in the same way."
Politicians and others must expressing serious concern over the Kashmiris imprisoned in different jails, and urge the state government to set up a commission that can take a stock of their sufferings. But Kashmiris should remember their own plight under Indian boots and beware of their own leaders who want to take or buy their valuable votes to support the course of India in Kashmir. India is keen to avoid the delicate Kashmir issue and make profitable friends with Muslim countries, including Pakistan and Arab nations. Unless Kashmiris are extremely alert, India could continue to evade the issue of retuning sovereignty to Kashmir even after "enjoying" it with genocides and destruction for decades since 1947.
A Word
India thinks the freedom fighting patriots do not have enough mass bases to win majority of seats to come to power so to reclaim sovereignty from India. The strategists are working over-night to keep the divisions among the Kashmiris intact to pursue the India electoral goals. They also claim in view of the strains in Pakistan-Kashmir rapport and relations, Kashmiris could be easily manipulated as planned by India. Emboldened by the impression that Kashmiris have finally fallen and it is time to tame them further to make them all pro-India guys, India could tactfully pursue its agenda in Kashmir. Patriotic, freedom fighting Kashmiris leaders should, therefore, unite against the vicious scheming of New Delhi and to guard their lives and limited freedom. They have limited options too.
One, they should ensure the failure of the polls by uniting all parties in Kashmir; A zero result of the poll would force India to revise its strategy to think seriously about granting independence to Kashmir. The freedom fighters could, alternatively, seek cooperation of those pro-India Kashmiri leaders who will in fact help the Kashmir freedom cause, see the end of India Raj in Kashmir and send back, along with the military equipment, the Indian political parties and establishment to New Delhi.
The moot question now is who will rein in the pro-India Kashmiris in Kashmir who sabotage the ongoing freedom movement by playing voluntarily into Indian poisonous hands for "suitable" favors from New Delhi? Has not any of of their kin and kith been killed by Indian terrorist forces?
