In 1945, the Second World War was concluded by US after the use of atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That was one of the worst days in the history which had effects even till today. Japan was almost destroyed. So called "Super Powers committed the most horrible crime of humanity. It was a heinous act which caused his affect even today. No hope seemed anywhere. The country needed to start from the scratch. A generation was expired and the clouds of darkness prevailed everywhere.

In that critical situation, people of Japan did not lose their heart. They decided to start once again to build a brighter and better Japan. None of them went after the arms. None of them decided to go for a suicide attack"¦"¦"¦"¦..but they decided to take some positive steps. Which will have a long run effect on the future of Japan?

They decided to educate their nation. They asked the teachers to start from the backward areas. Teachers spread among the rural and urban areas of the country and they started educating the nation. The results were there in less than 50years only. The most competent nation of the world was ready to take over in all the major fields of life. They were competent in electrical, mechanical, electronics, automobile and telecommunication technology. Today, Japan is having a prestige and position in the world that, they can challenge even the super powers on economical fronts.

During the first war of Indian independence which started on 10th May 1857 in Meerith(Gujrat), the western nation used the same old formula of divide and rule among the different sects of Muslims. Muslims were innocent enough to understand the conspiracy of the west. As a result, they were divided into many sects like "Brailivis & Deobundis etc. Leader of sect started blaming the other. A wave of confusion took place among the nation and as a result our young generation was deprived of the religious as well as modern education. West was already advancing in the field of education, even Hindus went much ahead of us, and we were far away from them. In that critical situation Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was the first person, who raised the slogan of education. He laid the foundation of Mohammadan Educational Society, which aimed to provide education to the Muslim students. That was the initiative which helped us to compete with the western nations. Even at that time people raised many question against Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. He was declared as traitor. But he kept on working on his mission. He had a sight which could see behind the wall. But unfortunately opposition did not understand him. As a result we went away from modern and technical education.

At the time of partition of Indian subcontinent, most of the Muslims were less educated. The same thing came in the newly born Pakistan. The same old conspiracies worked and Pakistanis were once again away from Education. Today even after 62 years of independence, unfortunately our literacy rate is less than 50%. And a literate person in defined as A person who can write his/her name". Which is not an actual definition of a literate fellow?

As a nation we should understand that education is the only factor behind the growth and development of a country or nation. Importance of a stronger defense cannot be neglected, but the actual defense in Education. We really need to work out for it. Our government, social institutions and NGOs should concentrate the point of education. And this education should include equivalent efforts both for men and women. Because the dream of an educated society cannot be fulfilled without women education. Which are almost half of our population?

An individual effort can win the match but teamwork can definitely win championship. We should not forget that we have to win the championship. To win this championship we need to open our arms for such organizational efforts who are participating for educational revolution in our dear homeland. Alhumdolillah, during the last few years we have rapidly achieved our goals in educational field. Young Pakistani chaps have done wonders in British as well as American standard exams. We have proved that we are competent enough to compete with advanced nation. All what we need is a minor contribution from all of us, which can really put us through. We all should contribute generously to enhance literacy rate in Pakistan. Which will help us to reduce poverty, terrorism, extremism and lot of social evils in our society? Which will help us to live a life full of prestige, honor and dignity? Let us be the pioneer to contribute and let us make our Pakistan a happier place on earth to live in

INSHAALLAH.

We should keep book of wisodm in one hand and book of Allah in other hand. One book will give us success in world and other book will give us success in after life, inshahAllah.
