A threat from Tehreek-e-Taliban with a 48 hour deadline is received by the authorities that if any of the Taliban prisoners is hanged they would retaliate forcefully by killing everyone in public places and bomb the schools. Government is doing a laudable job in not issuing the NOC to the schools to reopen until they took appropriate measures to ensure the safety and security of the children. However, the parents are quite apprehensive that all such expenses spent by the schools on security measures shall be passed on to them. Governments – Federal as well as the Provincial – are, therefore, requested to come to

Ever since the APS Peshawar horrendous incident of December 16th, almost all schools have been closed and various measures are being discussed and planned to ensure the security and safety of the children. Apparently, the emphasis looks to be on preventing a terrorist from entering a school premises and for that measures like raising of the perimeter walls, armed manning of the gates and various s

It was October 19th, 1941 that the Quaid in his Eid message gave the motto Unity Faith & Discipline to the nation yet to be born. Its Urdu rendition was Ittehad, Yaqeen, Nazm.
