Luxury and Bullet Proof Cars by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)

Chief Justice of Pakistan is genuinely concerned about the misuse of the luxury and BP cars by the unauthorised favourites and blue eyeds of the previous rulers, but the cancer of such misuse is so deep and widespread that its enormity could be gauged by the following true fact: Way back in the 1970s the Baluchistan Assembly had 39 MPAs and lo and behold ALL of them were Ministers in the Baluc Click here to read Full Article

Thank you Mr. Ex Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sahib for taking up the matter of Nomination Forms with the Supreme Courts of Pakistan and our hats off to the brilliance of the CJP who just by the stroke of his genius not only restored all that was sneakily taken out of the nomination for Click here to read Full Article
REINSTATE THE FORM by Col.Riaz Jafri (Retd)
Posted By: Riaz On: 5/Jun/2018 Views:763 Replies:0
Everyone in the govt., opposition, judiciary and politicians maintain that the elections would be held on the due date - 25th July 2018 and that revising the nomination forms would entail a substantial delay in the holding of the elections. Firstly, reprinting of couple of thousand forms should not take more than a day or two at the most. And secondly, the revised form (in fact the original for Click here to read Full Article

FATA & Pukhoonistan by Col.Riaz Jafri (Retd)

Now that FATA has merged in the KPK and its people enjoy the same civil rights and privileges as do the rest of Pakistanis, should there be a referendum not held in the territories adjoining FATA across the border and who once upon a time claimed to be part of Pukhtoonistan, whether they would also like to join Pakistan to enjoy the same benefits? I think, Pakistan should take it up at the Click here to read Full Article
Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Col.Riaz Jafri (Retd)

Ever since MNS govt. (which is ironically continuing as per PM SKA’s own admissions) came into power, Pakistan is without an effective Foreign Minister. Now the portfolio has been passed on to Mr. Khurram Dastgir who is already dabbling pathetically in the insurmountable-for-him defence affairs of t Click here to read Full Article

He Also Stood by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)

Yes Sir, he also stood but in the last row, 4th from the right with only 3 others out of the 53 lower in protocol to him. The occasion was the official group photograph of the Commonwealth Heads of the State with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, London, and one just can’t imagine that the order of seating and standing was not meticulously planned by the organisers of the event. Out of Court Settlement (Copy of my letter to the CJP) by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)

Your public concern for the lacs of cases pending and setting your own house (judiciary) in order has encouraged me to write the following:. Anyone going into any litigation knows in the heart of his hearts as to who is on the right and who is on the wrong. However, the ‘smart’ lawyers and, pardon my saying, the corrupt judges make the proceeding linger on for years before the issue is decided Click here to read Full Article

Ayub Park Check Post by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)

One wonders if the JCP (Joint Police and Army Check Post) on GT Road near Ayub Park for checking incoming traffic from Rawat serves any useful purpose or has apprehended any miscreants till date except for causing untold misery and agony daily to the hundreds of commuters from both DHAs and Bahria town going to Pindi/Islamabad. All sorts of vehicles including Emergency Vehicle (ambulances etc.) a Click here to read Full Article
Senate Chairman by Col.Riaz Jafri (Retd)
Posted By: Riaz On: 9/Mar/2018 Views:965 Replies:0
Why don’t all those who think MNS to be the plunderer of the national wealth get together and field a joint candidate for the chairmanship of the Senate? Would he not become still more powerful if the chairman senate is also one of his partisans? Is it a big rocket science which they don’t understand that by voting for their individual candidates their votes would get divided and the MNS nominee Click here to read Full Article

Notes for Votes by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)
Posted By: Riaz On: 6/Mar/2018 Views:1099 Replies:0
Almost all political leaders are openly accusing large scale exchange of ‘notes’ for votes in the Senate Elections. The amount of money alleged to have changed hands is mind boggling – 92 crores for a few Senators and 4 crores paid to each MPA etc. If true, can those indulging in it - both the payers and the beneficiaries - be called upholders of the sacred practices and norms of democracy? Five vs Millions by Col. Riaz Jafri (Retd)
Posted By: Riaz On: 28/Feb/2018 Views:706 Replies:0
Notwithstanding that I have no love lost for any politician because to me they are all the chips of the same block yet, I do not approve of the MNS misleading the masses by his repeatedly harping upon what he knows not to be true. He lets go of no occasion to ridicule the verdict of the five judges of the Supreme Court and in his rallies asks the audience if the five men can overrule 200 millions Click here to read Full Article
